This is the first time I've thought of getting back in to 40K in a decade - what is this - something priced competitively and affordable? This is not the GW I know and hate!

I think GW has kinda had a “what have I done” moment. They actually seem to be slowly getting kinder and more reasonable. It’s not perfect yet and they still do some not great things but hey it’s a step in the right direction.

I'm already signed up for the US release. Probably build the space marines as Ultra-Marines since many of the models are specific to that chapter. I already have a solid black templar force.

I think Games Workshop is i bit like Lucasfilm.... We grew up with when children, or teenagers. And for that reason we hold good memories... but we where young. Personally...Im glad they still exist. Some of what they sell is off the price in $/£.... but they still do loads of good starter packs. I think Imperium pretty cool Easy way back into to the hobby during lockdown. And as somebody who has an old Warhammer Elven army, and an original pack of Skeleton horde, and the first pack of Rogue Trader Space Marines.. all I can say is that the quality of the figs have come along in leaps in bounds... so credit where its due... I think GW doing a good job. Speaking of which... must find Bugmans Rangers (XXXXX)...think they are still hiding in my parents attic somewhere.. hopefully not getting Skarlocks wood elf rangers drunk!

Hey ladies and gents! As someone who has happily subscribed.. for the long long whole.. and as somebody who has no painted Citadel miniatures for a long time... please ignore the initial build and painting guides. Like any good plastic models.. do the base paint whilst they are on the sprue. Easier to touch up afterwards!

Im not 100% sire if im honest. I think you can still start from issue 1. Best bet would be to contact them direct
