@@holstonmatt Musicians aren't authors. It's very easy to disassociate music from the musicians because most songs are 3-4 minutes long and have many other talented people involved. It's very difficult to remove an author from a book, let alone a series of books. I'm not sure how anyone can read those books and take away that this author is this incredibly hateful person. The entire HP series is, when it boils down to it, about how love always wins. You don't get that sort of book series from a hateful person.

@@deathswitch2404 well have you read her tweets ? also there a lot of stuff wrong with Harry potter like the antisemitic goblins or how that one person try to save slaves and pretty much get shame for it, also you can't separate the context of society from a text for example the og invasion of the body snatchers was called anti communist by some and anti mccarthyism by others and both criticisms where valid because of the time the movie was made and release in, edit: it took me about 6 hours to realize that i said male instead of made 😆🙃

Jk is not anti trans. Not in the slightest. It’s a minority of those people who are so low in self esteem that they cannot find their own way of describing themselves. Those who rant about this and try to destroy real women are actually men - of the loudest sort and who try to intimidate women because they want to grab what we are. They are not what we are - they are something different entirely No one cares what people do with their private lives if they are not hurting anyone else. These people are demeaning women and trying to stamp them out to be replaced by themselves.

This is the mess our society gets into when we have govt who do not think clearly and follow feelings instead of science and biological facts. To facilitate a trans person to be able to legally have documents altered to align with their feelings is naive and problematic.

@@peanutbutterbruv Totally irrelevant. George Orwell changed his name for professional purposes as a writer just as David Bowie changed his name as a musician from David Jones. A name change is totally different from a sec change. You have various Christian names that could be male or female like Kim, Alex or an actress called Leslie Ash ( should have strictly been Lesley)
