My question is this- with them being the most advanced tanks in the world how good would they be in the event of a sophisticated EMP going off and the shielding against it fails. Can these tanks still operate the way the ones back in ww2 did with no computer systems? Or will they just be armed paperweights? Because that's the type of wars that are coming. EMP bombs and cyber attacks are going to be the way countries attack each other. The tanks need to be multi-operational. AI controlled and if need be full manual control.

As 2A7 is only just being deployed in the Bundeswehr...last time I checked last combat Germany was envolved in was Afghanistan..but only use of German Leopards was in Kosovo with Leo 2A5's. They are a mere component of combined weapons warfare and right now if you go by the statistics both the t90 and t70 may be way up there in enemy kills, Ukraine started the war with 6500 tanks and has about 600 left while the Russians lost only a few hundreds.

The absolute best tank on the planet is the M1 Abrams. Believe me, if you had the budget and the logistical capabilities as a general - you would want that tank. But you don't have the logistics or the finance in your country to run such a tank - because nobody besides the USA has - so the Leopard 2 gets a second place. Also I want to note: the Leopard 1 a5 will kill everything, absolutely everything that Russia has on offer for it in Ukraine.

Russian made T14 Armata is riddled with engine problems and its electronic gadgets do not work properly. T-14 Armata is worthless and good only as tank demonstrator nothing more. Its engine broke down during parade show in Moskow and has to be towed back to its original producer of tanks in Ural region.

Problem with these tanks that have screen tech they require pods to come out the tank to be able to see anything, like a Perascope almost which won’t be 50cal proof I would be 7.62 would still shatter the glass also! Which then completly disables the tank! The challenger 3 will be as advanced without these flaws

I read the engine was a bust. Too glitchy and underpowered. They can't fit another engine in it, because the ones they have in the T-90 Armatas and other models are too big for the T-14. Till they fix it the Tank is unreliable. That's also the reason Russian export agencies are advertising the T-90M (latest model of the T-90 Armata)
