About a year and a half ago, I purchased a brand new (5 miles) 2023 Camry XSE fully loaded with all the options. Only thing missing is the heated steering wheel, not offered since I live in Florida. Pearl White, black top. I went with the 4 cylinder because of work commute and high gas prices. The V6 was an option but I dont think Im missing much on the V6 version of it. Especially for what I wanted it for. Im not gna be racing in it so I didnt feel like I needed the V6. Plus 4 cylinder was cheaper. Paid $41,000 for it. My personal favorites have been the much upgraded ML audio and the triple beam headlights that blow my mind away every time I drive at night... they work so well. Also, why wouldn’t they want to add rear heater seats, I find that quite odd for a luxury brand car… I mean it’s an easy $500-$800 upgrade profit for Lexus. @@tonysterbenc you know your stuff! I suppose you’re right that most luxury buyers of the ES are typically older and probably aren’t hauling around their winter tires. Or folding down their seats to load up the luxury sedan. Also, not that the 2026 ES will be exactly based on the new 2025 Camry with the 5th gen hybrid system, interestingly enough, it doesn’t even have rear heated seats as an option even on its highest trim… this may be some foreboding foreshadowing! The unveiling of the new 2026 ES, built in Japan can’t come soon enough! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for its redesign.

Not the fairest comparison because the new Camry is hybrid only and the ES350 F Sport still has a V6; People will still buy the Camry not just because it's cheaper but also because of fuel efficiency. A better comparison would be a ES Hybrid

Have you ever driven a ES300h? Having an electric motor in conjunction with the gas engine is quicker than you might think!
@majed69564 ай бұрын
The Camry has a base horsepower of 225 for the front wheel drive model, and 232 for the awd model. It is worth it to compare the two and see if the extra power of a V6 is worth the nearly 20 mpg difference.
@MoeCamera4 ай бұрын
@@majed6956it doesn’t actually produce 232hp the engine makes 189hp and the rest of coming from an electric motor. So technically it’s only 189hp. But nice try

What I will Never understand is the Lexus strategy: Brake discs size of a coffee coaster
@JessicaHauserman4 ай бұрын
This might be the F Sport trim, but it's not exactly a sporty car. Most people aren't going to be doing the kind of driving in this car that would require bigger brakes. It would have been nice had they done that on the F Sport though, the adaptive suspension works pretty well and would have paired nicely with bigger front brakes.

Personal opinion: If you want a Lexus and like sporty, get an IS. If you want a Lexus and like plush, get an ES 350 Premium Package or Luxury. The ES F Sport's problem is that it is neither here nor there.

I own this vehicle and it drives and handles fantastic. The Lexus sales/service experience is far superior to Toyota. I have all of the options on mine. This screen is a joke. The 12.3 makes all the difference. If you want a Hybrid the ES 300h gets 43/44
