Primer is porous. It'll still rust lol. You need to epoxy it to protect it, unless you paint straight over the primer to seal it

Will send over a photo of my old civic rail i kept that was full of filler. lead filling is the way to go,apparently. (Kept it as a memory) i can't believe how wet it was,makes me wonder what my old corsa is like! use tiger seal to keep the plastic roof gutter cover on..😂

Yeah I hear lead is the way to go also. Many folks do that so it doesn't crack

@truth.hurts... which one are you looking at? Get on Facebook or Instagram on some of the Max Power pages and have a look they seem to be few and far between but people often post up ones for sale, trawl through market place even if you buy a standard one and then build it from there its going to be another saved and loved once more. I've had a soft spot for an Astra D or Astra G for many years and agree lovely cars. Lots of places finding old moulds and remaking the kits now also the scene is very much coming back. It's just knowing where to look.
