I know the Quest 3 will be coming but for my needs i just bought the Quest 2 second hand for cheap a week ago and bought the BoboVR kit making it feel much better. So far they might support this for another 3 to 4 yrs and that is fine for me…

Hey good content, appreciate all the memes. I upgraded from Q1 to Q2 as soon as it came out. Still got my old Q1 though. Why did you wait so long to upgrade? Q2 for only $300 is pretty affordable and also the price is still the same as when it launched, well, it jumped up to $400 for a while but seems to be back at $300. Soon, should be easy to get at $200 once Q3 comes out I think.

Yeah, i really believed that i was still good with the Q1 but the with that lack of support, it just forced me to buy the Q2. Loving the Quest 2 though, cant wait to review the Quest 3 when it launches :)

This is really helpful, thank you! My 8 year old son is desperate for a Quest 3 for Christmas and bless him, he says he'll ask Santa so we don't have to pay!! Well, he has never had a VR experience and we do not want to spend all that money on the newest, latest VR headset!! He loves gaming and I'm sure he'll love it but frankly it's just way too much money. It's a relief to know the Quest 2 is still worth it, so, Santa will be getting him that one with a little note from Santa telling him that all new VR gamers need to start with a Quest 2 LOL! It was a great price at £249 and I ordered a card especially printed from MoonPig from Santa saying he gifts every 8 year old, new VR gamers a Quest 2 in case they don't like it LOL!! - he needs to be a bit more grown up to get the bigger one haha! Wow the stress Santa brings! He wanted a cloning machine when he was 5 so he could duplicate all his toys!! I had to think fast for that one - I said Santa only made toys not science machines and maybe ask for one or two more toys haha! Thank you so much! I've looked at the games...I'm a gamer too and I'm very excited!!

yeah im getting the quest 2 on the 31st hopefully but I heard some rumors that people experience lag issues on the quest 3 and I find the quest 3 controllers look so slip able whenever u play a game like gorilla tag, but im getting the quest 2 because I find it more comfortable to wear and I really like the controllers because I like the ring and it makes the controller feel more comfortable while holding them. I cant wait to get this on the 31st in hand to play gorilla tag :)

Meta quest 2 is originally a standalone headset. So that means it doesn't need a PC to use it. And all the quest games work within the headset. However, if you want to play pc vr games, you can connect the quest to a PC :)

@@CDMist on paper they say the graphics are better then the quest 2 that might be tru due to its power but for some reason the quest 2 screen just looks better .the reason i got a psvr2 is because both of my quests have drift an i rather spend the 600 on a new VR then some controls but looking at it now i should of went for the controls
