Great Review! I love the color, and overall I like the new design inside and out! The grill IMO is still a tad bit outrageous but will probably grow on me. Toyota(no matter the model) has always been behind in the instrument panel/gauge cluster department. The instrument panel is way behind Ford IMO and compared to that huge touch screen it looks old already. I currently have a 2015 F150 crew sport that I have been very pleased with and still get compliments onto this day and has proven to be very reliable. As an owner of several Toyota’s in the past…I’ve never been able to buy a Tundra for 2 reasons mostly…the price has been outrageous( when compared to the competitors) and the gas mileage horrible if not the worst of all of them. Guess we will see if this generation is any different

Will be honest though, one big "zonk"(half zonk?) for me is the underseat storage. Love having it, and love the amount of storage it gives you, but one thing Ford did better with it imo was having it able to fold flat when you're not using it, like when you have something bulky you need in the back, but don't wanna put in the bed(idk, tv or something?)

Toyotas are like Chevys when it comes to interior styling, they lack refinement and seem kind of lazy.

A Ford half ton was the worst truck for reliability I've ever owned and a gmc was a close second worst. Neither company will ever get another dime of mine. Toyota rules period when it comes to reliability..

@@sheldo8083 you just had a bad one then. I’ve owned nothing but Ford trucks and they’ve all been fantastic

@@tracecronk3727 I known many to have good luck with Ford's and GMs but my experience is not that. My Ford was a long time ago and I've been faithful to myself in never having another. It was totally shot in 5 years. It was a 77 Ranger with a 400ci v8.. My Gm experience is lengthy and my last Gm of which I've had , 70, 82, 85, 90, 99 2009 GM was an incredible lemon with something broken always. I had 31 issues in 6 years. My Toyota so far has been flawless and so much tougher than comparably related GMs. I wish you luck with your Ford's ....if they serve you well that's what they are supposed to do. If I'm satisfied with any product I'll stick with them.

Had my SR5 since February. I blacked out my own emblems with a kit for 120 bucks. Anyway, I’ve had no problems and I absolutely love my SR5.

Without even watching I can answer the question. Absolutely. The Tundra has always been a better truck than Ford, Chevy or Ram. There is no better 1/2 ton pickup and unlikely ever will be.

Can't say I wouldn't like to have one but I miss the days when trucks didn't cost 90 grand and weren't about looking like a transformer. Love my 97 T100. Reliable, does the job, paid for. I hope it lasts another 10 years.

The SR5 trim, especially the interior looks better and better every time I watch one of these reviews. Also one thing I have noticed is that the SR5 trim seems too be the only trim that has that cubby in the dash on the passenger side??? Only thing that may hold me back and have to purchase the Limited is the SR5 not having ANY kind of power connection in the rear seat area?? This is weird as last gens did but hopefully this changes as they role out the non "pre production" vehicles later in the year
