I really like the concept of this modern DC junior, I'm just not a fan of satin finishes. I do like how they polish up over time! The first '19 dc jr I played however had some sharp frets which was disappointing, I'm hoping yours didnt have this issue However I am still much happier owning the 2018 maraschino cherry BJ les paul junior. The price point though..... damn it's appealing 🤣🤣🤣
@macaholic1006 жыл бұрын
@@tiki2777 I agree, the crappy matt finishes have to go. These would be nice Jr's for the price if Gibson would do what they should and apply a proper gloss finish. Traditional sunburst and TV yellow should be available as well. Lastly, Kluson delux tuners with the kestone knobs would be better for adult players because the white button tuners are too small.

If you want the Gibson sound, you are going to need a Gibson, and you’re just going to have to deal with what comes with that.

I bought one, same color and, for what it is, I'm very pleased. I had tuning stability problems initially but added a DP String Butler and the thing stays in tune now. Great neck. I think it's a great guitar for a new player. it forces them to work the vol and tone controls of the one pickup. once they mastered that, then get something with a second pickup. Too many of us are bad at controlling our tone through guitars controls.
