I assembled a Char- Broil grill the other day with my Leatherman Bond and Curl. The Bond's Philips driver had just the right reach to screw the fasteners in the rails of the carriage while the Curl had those nice foldable scissors to delicately open the hardware without ripping packages open and loosing small screws, washers and cotter pins for the wheels. I also used the diamond file on my Curl to smooth and straighten a chipped front tooth. My dog was playing with me, and I got hit in the mouth by her steel O-ring on her collar. Haha, luckily no harm done. She's a sweet dog just got a little spunky.

I am actually a fan and proponent of more multi tools with carabiner clips. My perspective being that it rides in my backpack should I need it, but it goes on my belt loop when I expect to need it. Works great for me.

It's ok as a tool but it feels like it's softer steel than Wave clones.

Also I want to ask you think that I can use a bit driver from the surge or wave and use it for the free P2 or Free P4?

So there is an adapter you can get for the P2. And P4 I believe that allows it to then use 1/4" bits but it's different I think then the standard Wave adapter. So essentially the P2 Phillips driver is narrower than the standard adapter slot.

Or is it the Leatherman bit adapter that they make for the rebar and st300 and the bond that goes on the screw driver and turns it into a bit driver,?? If not can you guide me to where I can find it? Definitely this is inferior to the Wave, Surge or Signal. What I hope to do is turn this into a small pocket carry tool that will have full size pliers. For light every day task this should do fine.

I've broken more belt loops than I have multi-tool sheaths... I wouldn't exactly say a belt loop is more secure...

It's a fail if the inner tools don't lock. Far too expensive for the competition.

The inner tools do lock. At $39 it would be a bit pricey.
