If you are facing hair loss check your ferritin levels, I suffered from hair loss for years and doctors told me it was just my genetics. Last year my dr got my ferritin levels checked, turns out my level was just 9 (practically inexistant). Under 30 you will have hair loss and over 70 your hair starts growing. I have been on iron suplements since then and it has made such a difference. I wasnt even anemic though so it never showed before, it was just the ferritin.

​@@arunaabdoolIf you have low ferritin levels then it's likely that you are suffering from hair loss. However most GPs will say you don't have a problem if your level is within the lab range and the lab range goes down to 15.

I use a blend of castor oil, rosemary oil and jojoba oil on a daily basis, and once a week I do a castor oil mask. My hair has actually improved, especially my scalp and had new hair growth.

Doctor, How often would you wash your hair using topical minoxidil and this adjunct product? How often do you personally wash your hair using topical minoxidil? Daily? Every other day? Do you go longer? I keep hearing how it is not good to over wash your hair on a daily basis but I’m finding it hard not to using topical minoxidil with the topical buildup. What is your routine if you don’t mind me asking. Thank you

I've used 2 bottle of this product, and while i don't think it helps with hairloss or to grow hair, what i noticed is that it made my scalp feel less itchy and hurt less, so my thought is that this is to help take care of the scalp so that hair will have a better chance of growing on a healthy enviroment, which it usually doesn't given that we don't tend to take care of our scalp the way we do with the rest of our body. If the price was lower for the amount you get i would have continued buying it, but hence, i didn't, so now i'm going to see if the Some By Mi Cica Peptide spray can be a good substitute for it.

Topical minoxidil is toxic for cats so I wouldn’t recommend. For patients who have cats I recommend oral minoxidil tablets

Tea spoon of castor oil and teaspoon of rosemary oil, mix together, massage on scalp with fingertips, leave for an hour and wash hair with sulphate free shampoo, within 3 months a noticeable difference in hair's appearance, texture and growth. Forgot all these ridiculously expensive treatments.

Caution with Castor oil as it can inflame skin. Also, only use organic, hexane free in a glass bottle. Toxins from plastic can be pulled into the oil.

Excuse me Doc, you may want to dive a bit deeper over the rosemary. I'm an ex hairdresser, rosemary oil has already been debunked recently by some biochemist who disected the study that was claiming to prove its effectiveness. I believe you may even find one of them doing this on YT.. Why some people using the castor oil and rosemary find it works, is not the ingredients its the massaging. We had to learn professional scalp massage as part of our training to stimulate hair growth. It increases blood flow to the scalp, as you know your hair is made from protein from your blood. UV light helps stimulate hair growth as well so people shouldn't avoid some sunlight exposure.
