I miss the Path so much. I've walked the route you've taken during my lunch breaks in my 14 years working downtown. Now that I'm retired I wonder if I could still walk the entire path. I hope life underground would be revived again. Thanks for the walking tour.

Johnny, I thought the wallet advertisement was very well done. I think it’s good you are getting these and hopefully getting some additional income for you/the streams. As a viewer, personally I am always happy to see these if it means my favourite streamers or KZbinrs can continue to do what they do, and I can continue to view their content into the future.

True, plus I really dont care about a sponsor being thrown in the middle of a long walking stream, theres already so much content just watching him walking around and talking about stuff too

I work at the hospital just outside Queen station and I've unknowingly passed by the PATH entrance this whole time! I'll have to map out my route to and from Union station to work so I can save ttc fare and walk here when the weather is bad. I'll also have to stop by some of those stores like I've got a few shoes to repair (support local businesses!) and grab some coffee from those various coffee shops instead of Timmies/Starbucks all the time. Thank you for filming this because I didn't know about it. I hope the PATH will return to it's busy lively self eventually!

Nice video Johnny I occasionally used to work around Royal Bank Plaza I remember the path being crazy busy especially lunchtime at the food court But I see due to Covid lockdown and people working from home I don’t think it will ever be as busy anymore.

Hi Johnny!! Happy Monday!! I think you did the advertisement in a class, informative way and I think it worked very well. This looks like a high end terrific wallet and offers some really great options, such as a way to locate where you last had your cell - terrific feature! I really enjoyed this video this morning. It's super interesting and as always so enjoyable!! Cheers!! 🙂

Good video tour of the Path. Although I have been in and out of the Path many times, I have never seen the entire route. Regarding verticle videos (as discussed on Live Chat), I don't mind them. Although I'm used to horizontal ones, my eyes can easily adapt to watching the verticle ones. I can never adapt to shaky videos. I would get seasick every time.

Hey Johnny, nice to see your channel growing and a lot more companies reaching out to partner with you. I always see that Ekster ad when I'm watching youtube so was pleasantly surprised to see you highlighting their wallet. Also, I hit up the Addmotor company who sent you your new ebike to ask about their crazy range claims. I said, I'd wait to hear your review from your channel first regarding the real world numbers before considering them though. Carrying around a spare ebike battery for more range is a major PITA. Keep striding man! 🚶♂

Great walk and very informative. Good to get an update on the businesses down there. 👍🏾 Cool wallet ad. A bit too gimmicky for me but still cool.

That was helpful, thanks Johnny! I haven't ventured into *indoor* locations downtown much since the pandemic - just too many people and aerosols for my comfort. But the PATH system is so comprehensive - even with a map, I got lost the first couple of times I needed to navigate within it for work.

It was empty in 2020 and 2021. I walked through many times. Often there were only a few people around.

Thanks. I was hoping that you would pop over to the revamped Union Station. Have not been downtown much since that has been completed, but lots of familiar places.

I don't miss the Path at all! I did service work for 30 years down town on commercial food equipment. City planners never gave a crap about parking for service workers. In the 80's and 90's there was plenty of parking lots above ground. Now most parking is underground and most of them are less then 6 foot 6 inch high. My work van needs 6 foot ten. Good luck to Toronto now that it doesn't have many people to pay for over priced food in the downtown core. People who live in Toronto "proper" constantly complained about the "905" people using all their services and not paying into the city for it. Well you got your wish now Toronto! Good luck! HAHA.

How's it Toronto's fault for being forced to subsidize unsustainable suburban developments? The less cars on the roads here the better... it's a win for us.

@@CanadianBrewingChannel It's hard to do that when it's too busy subsidizing the entire GTA financially. The best the city can do is make it more livable, more bike lanes, less street parking, less cars in general which are a cancer on the streets and improve transit with whatever pennies it has left over after the province leeches every possible cent.

Amazing to see the PATH so dead on a weekday afternoon. Those halls should be packed, especially around lunchtime. I got a new job quite recently which is theoretically located in downtown Toronto, but I haven't even seen inside the office. All the hiring was done online, and I've been working from home since day 1. I was looking forward to working downtown, too -- but not looking forward to the commute, so there's that.
