Sir i had an experience when i was initiated for Reiki healing...i was doing meditation i swa a beautiful bright golden light i just started following the light it took me to a different place like never ending journey. Iost the time and my consciousness didn't know how long i was in the status . I came to the world hearings loud banging on my door..i didn't response to the door bell.. then i went and open the door..there the loby manager was standing informing me that all my crew members are ready for departure waiting for me...i got ready quickly joined my crew.. I almost missed my flight on that day..got such a fright...i stopped doing deep meditation out stations and alone. Then came a long break in my spiritual life..God never let me go away from Him then cane Pranic Healing..i left my job seeking Divine life and healing. Your teachings and the wonderful explanation are priceless sir. I am blessed. God bless much love. 🙏❤

Vimala, that is so amazing, what a journey! That was the spiritual eye, of course, and your loss of time is a very normal feature of the right hippocampus, in especially deep states. Very cool!! Best not to do it before a flight of course! Lol. But in this case you didn't have a choice I understand. I'm so happy that you are gaining understanding and confidence here. I see that really helps everyone to navigate the inner territory. God bless!

my father in law took melatonin at wrong time of day (morning) and felt horrible (tired, depressed). I took it at night before bed numerous times in the past, 1/4 minimum dose, and always woke with a headache. so i guess sensitive people do have side fx. It is so interesting the study reported no side effects. (also maybe in USA the melatonin is tainted?) . I prefer to increase melatonin using darkness and only candles after sunset (in general). (or i use little amber tinted nitelites. thanks for this video. You are my favorite teacher on youtube for the science of practical meditation :D

I learned through a local temple that the Ishwara/Paratman is in the "lotus of the heart" (Chandogya Upanishad) and was taught to bring my inner focus and breath into the heart chakra. Can one successfully do a kriya by focusing the breath through the medulla and Ajna chakra while also maintaining breath focus in the heart or would you advise against this? Pranam🙏🪷

One month ago, after 90 min of Kriya, Kundalini, and pranayama, I began chanting Aham Bramasmi. I noticed as my energy settled, I began to have the experience you talk about here. I embraced this unknown with great curiosity. I stopped the guided practice to stay in this unusual, but welcome state. Over the next hour, my consciousness expanded. I have no better words. I was the sky, the Universe, space itself. Peace, joy, love... was in this place and so was me, as well. Only I had a bonus feature: physical euphoria not unlike climaxing, only mental. For nearly an hour non-stop! My Fitbit confirmed I was not asleep. Since then, I've had similar but different experiences, like you said. Never a mindgasm quite that long. I knew it had to be the pineal gland with all the pelvic floor/kegels built in. But Melatonin?! I wouldn't have guessed. Thanks for the insight.

super cool sharing of your hypnogogic seeing of the divine mother. Gosh it sounds identical to my experience I had while listening for the first time to binaural beats in 'delta' (I'm not sure why delta caused it but as you point out it might be the melatonin, or maybe dmt or both). Instead of a star I saw what I now know to be the eagle nebulae, in colors of scintillating blue and violet, and she emitted such loving familial belonging with me, such an appreciation of me, I was forever changed, no longer feeling worthless or unloved as before. now i feel loveable and loved, for which life is more beautiful.

I was just looking for comment and couldn't find it. ... So, to answer you. I've been meaning to do a video on the relationship between kundalini / energy experiences, and the subconscious mind. These experiences take place when we are "seeing" these deep subconscious processes that we usually are not privy to in our day to day state. So, part of the process of kundalini and energetic experiences, is to be able to put those back inside the subconscious when we want to. For example, having energy running up and down your spine, or blowing up your sense of the body is not exactly conducive to a good driving experience on the freeway. The yogi has to learn how to put the Genie back in the bottle, so to speak. That's what you were describing in your process of putting yourself back together. The way to do that is to start talking with your subconscious, and ask it to help you with this process. Doing this before sleep is a great place. Make the request very simple.

what a great video. I am searching for this type of info. I wonder how heart ties in to all this, in addition to it's inner heartbrain nature, and it being in synch with brain firings. I have soooo much to learn, it's exciting!
@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson 2 жыл бұрын
The heart is a reflection of the left and make the left which is the center of joy pure love and Bliss in the brain. If we are successful in bringing that into the mix it will help to lift us up into the higher brain waves. Eventually it lifts the yogi far enough that he goes into the non-dual state. Into a samadhi experience.

That's wonderful, Berjan! I have a video where I talk about the Download Phase: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGiYdYGra8pola8 That's when we receive visions like this. The DMT and mushrooms cut down on the natural resistance. Meditation does that over time. I'm a much bigger fan of meditation, of course, but the experience you mention is still valid. By meditation this kind of experience becomes an everyday experience. That's where I live, in varying degrees.

Thank you for this great video and explanations! That is so interesting! What is your opinion on eye masks and melatonin, if I may ask? I like to sleep and meditate with open windows, so some diffuse light always comes in. The eye mask would shield the eyes, though not the entire skin. Is the pineal gland triggered by the light absorbed in the eyes - or triggered by any light falling on any part of the skin? Thank you for your help and wisdom
@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson 4 жыл бұрын
I was told it's the eyes. If you wake up, for example, and you just can't wake up enough, and you stare into sunlight, it will actually burn up the melatonin in your system. An eye mask should be great, so long as the feeling of it is supper comfortable and it doesn't distract you. If you feel it, then it becomes like wearing a shirt. Which would refer us to the video about Lahiri Mahasaya and the Parietal Lobe.

Forrest Knutson Thank you so much! Thats a great point. So many details that should be considered... off topic: Do you have any video yet about how to end a meditation in a way that the positive effects last as long as possible afterwards? I see you advise against the ingestion of DMT, what are your thoughts on psilocybin?
@ForrestKnutson
@ForrestKnutson 4 жыл бұрын
In general, yes, I'm not for it. It's difficult enough to stay grounded while keeping a meditative habit. When you introduce mind altering substances, you quickly change the dynamic and can exacerbate the problematic portion of meditative experience. I've heard of studies showing people who didn't meditate, and took it once, had a deep experience, and that gave them perspective on life. In that way psilocybin was good for that reason. However, when it comes to the yogi that's the place that he lives. He's living in the space of inspiration. As an alternative I'd suggest the God Helmet from Todd Murphy. If a meditative shortcut was the idea, that would definitely be the ticket. You want the deep right brain stimulation, and then the left amygdala stimulation.
