As someone who has repaired hundreds of PlayStation 5's, the last PS5 revision and new slim model actually have the exact same motherboard. Also Sony does not use leaded solder due to regulations so the HDMI ports have weak joints. The day one PS5 was the best model out of all of them. Best cooling due to larger and heavier heatsinks.

Great video!! I’m a psvr2 player and I would definitely say it’s worth it. Played every major vr game on every platform and RE4 is blowing me away on psvr2. The head rumble when your head barely misses a flying axe is crazy!

Wow. I was wondering why the rubber around the thumb sticks on my duelsense controller were coming off. Thx for the info. Guess I’ll have to get one of the updated controllers.

Oh that's not what I was talking about. I meant issues with the inner components, like stick drift. The outer sticks being worn down is probably from the games you play. Just replace the thumbsticks or get covers.

@@xKingReyx I agree no console is worth the markup from scalpers. That said I'm not talking about whether it was worth overpaying. I'm talking about its release price from stores. Yes, it was worth it.

not to mention that they removed the ability to have usb saves, so that you are forced to subscribe to psplus if you want to have piece of mind for your saves. Could you imaging your ps plus expired and you went a whole month without psplus and your ps5 got corrupted? you'd be totally fucked. so yes very worth it.
