8:50 Your car was actually still charging, which is why it was not at a 100% yet. The green led was pulsating, which means charging. It is a solid green when charging is complete. You can actually see it on the inside of the charge cover at that timestamp in the video.

Not a bad cold weather range and drain performance. Also always liked the look and boxier design of the GLB so really think this is a great effort by MB to expand their lineup.

I know you and your better half just purchased a new vehicle. It would've been interesting if you had purchased something like this. We are all cognizant of EV limitations with distance, cold, and weight. If would've been nice to see if today's EVs truly meet the requirements of someone who doesn't use it in that manner but more for short trips and daily home charging. Yes, I know vehicle supply was limited as was your purchase window.

Evidently, it would be a good idea to read the manual or watch other YT videos to establish how to do things in this car before trying to explain n your video. Quite a lot of time wasted.

The button is mainly for people at the fast chargers, with the bonus to home users. On most EVs, that became an issue when they first started, as Top Gear made the joke that kids or teenagers could just pull the charger out of an EV out in public, when really the hosts would do it for a laugh.

I personally don’t believe that EV’s are practical and it will be years before they will be practical Hybrids are plug-in hybrid EV’s (PHEV) are more practical because they still use a internal combustion engine (ICE). 🙂
