Is the RoR Shredder of Lustria Any Good in Patch 5.1? - Lizardmen Unit Focus

I've tracked down my own confusion over the ranged weapon, the Dread Saurian base version also has the Ancient Stegadon style ranged weapon. The Shredder shows higher missile damage from Rank 9 increases to Reload Time (reducing to 6.6 seconds). I left a pinned message under that video too. This is just more humble pie over needing to triple-check certain things in-game and so on but I'll get even better as I go, thanks!

There are many things one COULD say about the Shredder. The gold crown of single army slot performance, the downright abysmal cost to performance ratio, the curious case of role as an army centerpiece support unit. All I see is the most likely way to turn a surely lost settlement into the start of a conquest snowball.

That's where you need to pretend it's Overwatch and have a 'dive comp' prepared for dealing with missile units trying to fire at the Dread Saurian.

It's huge. It's better than a standard Dread Saurian. It's pricey, but it's nigh an "I win" button.

Long time 360 veteran here. First thing. • The tier 1 pump shotgun is great for clearing hordes, as opposed to its chrome counterpart. • You make it very clear that you cannot properly headshot common or special infected with other weapons outside the Scar I guess? I don't have problems consistently headshotting enemies. • Duel Pistols are great for killing specials. Your Primary is not "FOR" anything except killing. Some weapons are better for hordes, other are better for specials. The weapons themselves fill their own role. Overall the weapons you placed at S or higher are correct. No qualms with that.

This is one of my favorite units in all the game !!! It's the strongest unit in the game by far. I previously said that about the Dread Saurian, by I should have qualified- the strongest unit type. The Shredder will beat any unit in the game, except the Dwarven Barge, but I am referring to Melee units. Quick question, is it's ranged attack stronger than that of a regular Dread Saurian? And if it is, by how much? Since you are doing RORs, can you please review The Star Chamber Guardians, Colossadon Hunters and Sky Striders? I know its a big ask, but all of them are absolutely legendary units , which everyone wants to see Thank you

Edit: I've put pinned comments for both videos because apparently it really is the Ancient Stegadon weapon for base Dread Saurian as well as this one, so the extra cost is mainly for the encourage aura/ discourage debuff hex, though those are valuable things. So its ranged attack isn't any stronger except accounting for a difference in Rank i.e. reload speed buffs. And I will do those other ones as I go! And triple-check certain things in the process I believe.

Don't sweat it- you are doing a great job. There are so many stats to analyze, that nobody expects it to be 100% accurate. Especially with so many conflicting sources

Well in TWW2 I drifted between some challenge campaigns, Tehenhauin was who I used to learn Lizardmen, but I had little Dread Saurian experience to draw from.

RoR units have been implemented in a very weird way that they are insta recruited, which makes it absolutely hilarious in the shredder of lustria's case since you can teleport a dread saurian on top of a small raiding party inside your territory. of all the races lizardmen are the only ones to call that stuff "lore accurate". but yea as for the unit all you need to do is stop it getting shot too much and you basically win. it recently got collision dmg so you CAN charge it around but theres simply no need. if u really want to keep it, you will find best usage in the chaos wastes where there isnt too much missile. unfortunately lizards are surrounded by empire (not too bad), elves and skaven so dont expect this thing to do much against a weapons team army wihtout support. oh and AFAIK the spirit of grungni has a whopping 8hp less than the shredder and how dare you for spreading misinformation im so mad rn wqihv iugacpu.
