I've got one, and I really need to practice more with it. It's not the same as playing a traditional keyboard. Requires a lot more accuracy. If you're just going to do sound effects and slowly moving stuff, no problem.

Hi and thank you for wetting toes here. I have been pondering to buy or not for some time now, yet am waiting for an announcement of something from Roli on 01/10/23 and will decide then. Sound names were very descriptive and maybe put you into a frame of mind that was not in the same direction, yet still good to have them I guess. Then I see that you have no sound packs installed yet, is it because they provide so many with the unit? I wonder also, how long the internal power would last for outside? Thanks for your review and insight, sounds amazing.

Very interesting device - it's too expensive for me for just mucking around as I'm more of a guitarist, I wonder if we'll see more entry level hardware with some of these physical attributes.

So far all these expressive controllers have been pretty expensive. Linnstrument is one you might like more, since it's laid out like a guitar, but it's still pricey.

What kills me is the realisim sounds of playing guitar, brass instruments, string instruments, etc. You can't do that on traditional keyboards. Great invention!
