Is the SIM world going crazy? Hydraulic+ Feedback on H-brake from Simagic

The new GEN Handbrake from Simagic is not only with hydraulic system but capable to create feedback from a haptic motor. Is that really cool feature or gimmick?

Exciting times for sim racing. One thing ive noticed in the simagic manuals for their new hydraulic kit on the pedals states "do not press pedal without rubbers and cap on" im guessing this could lead too air being brought into the system maybe? Is it possible to ask simagic about this please Stiliyan because when you have the p1000i installed trying to change over the rubbers without pressing the pedal too get them out is a little different. They even put the warning in red so if you can ask them is this just worth case scenarios or is it very important not to thus because my first Hydraulic kit went really stiff on the same rubbers as my friend and im wondering if it was due too pressing the pedal without the rubbers in and the cap on because the new hydraulic kit feels perfect.

Love your channel Sir. I would like to confirm if my understanding was-is correct or not. You cant really feel the wheel lock of haptic?You use it as TC "immersion"?The only reason im thinking of this setup in order to be sure WHENEVER the wheels are locked.That would be a benefit of my point of view but if i cant feel the haptic ONLY when the rears are locked then its pointless from my perspective. Please let me know so i will be able to know if i should proceed and spend 500euro or not :D Thank you

For my personally haptics on H-brake is pointless as it doesn’t provide anything I need to know as information. Those haptics are good on the brake pedal simulating the ABS SimHub also provides locking wheels feedback!

Welcome to Simagic's Marketing partner network. Given that most of Simagic's infrastructure is in China, they must be making big margins on their products. They don't charge that much less than some manufacturers but my guess is their overall costs (inc management, R&D, Support etc) are a lot lower. Example being their Alpha U isn't really much cheaper than an SC2 Pro.

They are not comparable for now as the controller box is fitted in the pedals and now in the handbrake case! I hope soon will be out as separate kit with controller and be possible to be used with anything we want!

Patiently waiting for the new WRC game. ❤ Let us all pray this time we can have a realistic rally sim. RBRRSF is the current king though graphically it's just too old.... even with the modded assests. That handbrake looks like my next upgrade seeing as I currently own a modded cheap ebay one 😂

Now you mentioned that, I don’t hear that coil whine for quite some time which was never big problem for me as I never turned off the base for months! I remember I was hearing something at some point but haven’t noticed that lately changing constantly unrelated software!

I definitely want to upgrade from Thrustmaster to Simagic but Fanatec is the only one that's a higher quality than Thrustmaster that allows for console play as well so I'm kinda stuck with that choice until I can afford a PC but I also don't want to invest my money in Fanatec just to spend even more money to get Simagic 😮‍💨

@@nicechasinchasegods7051on pc you can mix and match equipment so it doesn’t matter. And fanatec with the qr2 is amazing it’s 1million times better then the qr1. It would make you think different about fanatec and at one point I owned a simucube 2 sport which was 17nm

Решил съм ди си поръчам simagic Q1 sequential shifter, но попаднах на клип в youtube в който казват, че в рамките на шест месеца употреба е дал доста дефекти, като изкачащи пружини, слаб материал на метала в превключващия механизъм който се изкривява с времето и от там започва да не се връща в неутрална позиция лоста за сменяня на предавките. Бихте ли споделили мнение, забелязвам в клиповете Ви че го използвате благодаря!

​@@chepilevski I was able to fit the Simagic Haptic motor on Simtrecs GT Pros without any modifications. Stock P2000 mounting just works great with it. For other pedals the mounting point has to be around 16-18mm wide to be able to fit the motor's bracket and you are good to go! Ah yeah and it feels unreal! - Cheap simucube active pedal alternative upgrade for xmas. :D

I think many western people had this same feeling in the beginning and is different culture thing which can have totally different meaning for there own language! Sim racing isn't going crazy. It's an arms race, and we are the benefactors. People can't have it both ways. Some say it's not realistic enough. Then when sim manufacturers try to make it more realistic people will bitch about that. I've learned to completely ignore the 99% of fools who don't know their head from their ass.
