I use to work for General Motor's paint group. The reason plastic looks off color to metal panels, is that plastic heats up faster in the paint ovens, which effect the color.

I’ve had several of these as town cars, they can park anywhere, turning circle better than a London taxi, and cheap as chips to run and insure, plus the 4 door is actually quite spacious inside.

I recently got some cheap glue tabs for small dents and they work well i think Chris would be a master with them the kit was only about 20 quid and some 99 % alcohol cleaner helps them stick and cleans off after.

You should try the milwaukee battery polisher that's one of my best investments ever. With the 2000 grit sponge disc you can do a whole MWB van in 30 min. That's flat and polish. Great job on smart car. Bitch of a colour to match on a good day let alone a sunny day 😊
