Is the Suzuki DRZ 400sm a good bike for beginner riders?

For some reason your vid had the hairs stood up on the back of my neck lol. At 60 I have just bought my first DRZ (a bike I have wanted since seeing my first one in 2006 imports ended in 2008 here in the UK) and I am looking forward so much to getting it delivered this week and having fun on it. @@justoneperson Thanks for the reply. Trail riding is more restricted over here so the SM and E models just were not selling in enough numbers plus KTM were big in the market nowadays the CRF 250/300L have the recreation market cornered you are so lucky still being able to buy the DRZ new.

I have owned my drz 400 sm for 8 years now and love it to bits , I've owned all the crotch rockets (fireblade, ninja 600, CBR 600rr,)nothing beats the fun I have on my drz , just want to say I love the yellow and black colour scheme on yours , 👍

The supermoto is one of the most versatile bikes i have ever ridden. Corners like a street bike, but can ride trails as well. It's a do everything bike that doesnt sacrifice street performance.

Congratulations!!!! That’s awesome. I think you made the right choice. Just enough power to cause a little trouble but not enough to end up in jail. 🤞 It’s just nice to get out and ride very therapeutic. Maybe one day I’ll be old and want to ride one of those Harley Davidson Motorscooters that all my friends are buying.

I’m the same height as you with the same inseam and I can tippy toe both sides with the stock seat, I got the seat concepts low seat and I can almost flat foot on the left side! Hope that helps:)
