I genuinely agree, I remember when I first got accel. I tested it out and it quickly became my favorite and main dps tower, but since others have outclassed it then I move away from it. But accelerator will always be my favorite tower.

I've played TDS for a whole year and studied the stats of majority of the towers. Accelerator's function is to charge up, fire those in its range, and go on cooldown with all enemies are killed or overcharged. When stunned, it becomes an issue. However, it preforms extremely well as a Mid game tower, Late game could work, but once it is stunned, its flaws kicks in

I’d argue that buffing the accelerator is good. Sure, it reaches its damage cap faster, but that means the enemy you’re trying to kill can’t get as far down the track, giving the accelerator more time to shoot in total.

Same, brawler being removed inf placement limit is already a huge nerf (some people say it's a rebalance), but to remove hidden detection is wild bro. It's a real competition now between brawler and warden (not versatile but got hidden detection)

Accel is always my maindps, if not my only dps. Its great against crouds AND tanks. Not even that expensive if your in late game. The only problem is its ammo at early levels. But they buffed its ammo alot recently, so not too bad anymore.

It really does suck its pro's are dps and cost effency but non of that matters because his damage cap and aggro will guarantee you leak really only usfull for late game if your playing support with a medic so that you can eliminate the stuns and his high cost efficiency is usfull because you have less time to get him down

It does suck a little.Instead of buffing dps and having 3600 ammo they decided to increase ammo to 4800 and nerf damage which means same dps at a lower cost but you can died a little bit easier since the accel will lock onto a target until it dies which gives chances for the speedy enemise to get passed aka fallen jesters and many more
