Most interesting one of these you've done so far for many reasons! Also, this is one of the few where I would have actually purchased the shirt after watching, but planned obsolescence is one of my biggest pet peeves with modern products. If they made this shirt in 100% cotton, maybe even pima, I would have purchased a 10 pack. Hope they offer something like this in the future.

i would buy too... i think this is an interesting business model - solve a (common) problem that no one else is solving, but i can't believe they will have many repeat customers like this... i can't imagine them being around for 5 more years. maybe i'm wrong. i'm no economist.

after carhartt tees were hit with lower fabric weight, i've been looking for a heavyweight alternative, so i'm grateful for your videos. i definitely agree that someone should make a long lasting, heavier weight T with similar dimensions and end goals. i would never buy this t shirt because of the fabric, but i would try the fit if it was built to last - and i'd gladly pay a higher price for it.

Does a 60 40 polycotton blend inherently end up pilling? You see the same kind of blends in more expensive brands than this like Patagonia for example. Or are there more ‘premium’ ways of managing polycotton that avoid pilling?

Hey Joe, in one of your previous videos you asked about any leads on plastic recycling into pellets, to accompany your nylon video. Try connecting with Merlin Plastics in the lower mainland (Vancouver). In looking forward to the Nylon series drop!

Since most of the time, the focus for the video is in the center, can you put the "Subscribe" pop up on the side or in the top corner? It always seems to pop up with the worst timing when there's a visual that we need to look at. There's also a lot of audible calculations, but would you be able to provide a written visual on the side to show the estimated cost to produce & profit margin?

I would be interested in hearing your opinion on Brave Star's t-shirts, they seem to be fairly well priced for a well made US shirt.

what brand shirt are you wearing in this video, i love the cut and the fit.

I really like the review of a more "everyday" shirt, great video. I find though that sometimes if an A line cut is too wide at the bottom hem, it actually accentuates the dad bod. Do you agree?

Hi, what t-shirts do you wear and what brands would you personally recommend?
@Shiftfashiongroup2 ай бұрын
Joe typically wears samples that he tests out! As for brand recommendation, Brands may have multiple supply chains; having products that are good under one category, but the rest of the products could be bad. So Joe may not give any brand a full seal of approval, until he is able to review a lot of their products😊
@jamespohl-md2eqАй бұрын
@@ShiftfashiongroupWhy don’t you have Joe tell the viewers what he is wearing in each video? He doesn’t have to endorse or review. Also, why not have him wear, when applicable, the products. In this video it would have provided a nice contrast to the tee he was wearing and the TC.

could you guys look into brands like Next and Marks and Spencer, M&S is well known for their high quality clothing would be interesting to learn the reality of whether this is true.
@AlienAlpacaАй бұрын
So other than Lands End or Eddie Bauer, there don't seem to be many brands making long aka "Tall" size shirts that are high quality, or am I missing something? I don't mind paying $50 - $120 per shirt, but it's like they don't exist. Someone could take True Classic's idea and really run with a high end fabric, maybe Suvin Cotton if you wanted to do a fancy capsule collection, and imo - their brand would be huge.

Isn't the dad bod t-shirt just a carhartt tee? Actually, can you do the same study on a carhartt tee to see if there's a difference?
@FredPutterman3 ай бұрын
carhartt fits loose but the arms are loose and long, there isn't an A frame taper that I can recognize. the weight of their tees has gone down, but certainly not as light as these.

There is no way that shirt is $4 to manufacture. That may be the wholesale price, but I don’t see that shirt costing more than $2.50-3 per piece.
@CharlieLiuPhotography27 күн бұрын
Well, "no more than four dollars" could also mean $2.50 a piece.
