Amen! This is a truth that I have instinctively felt for several yrs but could only hurt in response to the reality of it. I am in a place in my mental acknowledgment that my improvement, with God’s help, is based on how I process the ability or lack thereof of another person’s ability to have Agape love. The facts are just the facts. Truth is power, if we let it. Opinions vary. I’m processing truth as facts and with God, All things are possible. Thank you for teaching and breaking it down. Experienced at the word but present truth for today, is something we all need in every walk of life. I have roots in capital M, Crooked Letter, period. I can relate to the way you relay messages. BIBLICAL FRIENDS BY Kinfolk PD 1. Unshakable character There are no neutral relationships Proverbs 13:20. If you walk with the wise you will become wise. Relationships build us up or tear us down. Push us forward or pull us backwards. I Corinthians 15:33 Don't be misled, bad company corrupts good character. You don't want people who have inconsistent character. I don't want a person that doesn't steal from me, I want a person that doesn't steal because if our relationship goes south I have to wonder which person will I get. 2 Unconditional Love Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity. Can you handle my highs and lows and your view of me doesn't change your love for me. 3. Unbridled Honesty Faithful are the wounds of a friend [who corrects out of love and concern], But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful [because they serve his hidden agenda]. Proverbs 27:6 AMP A friend speaks the truth even if it's something they haven't mastered because some people want you to stay stuck because they are stuck. Some people love your relationship more than they love you. If they feel like their honesty will jeopardize the relationship they will bridle their honesty. 4. Unmovable Reliability Faithful are the wounds of a friend [who corrects out of love and concern], But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful [because they serve his hidden agenda]. Proverbs 27:6 AMP. Reliable means dependable and trustworthy. These type of friends are predictable. You know what you will get with them because they are trustworthy. 5. Unceasing Encouragement. Nobody's going to be perfect but your friends can not be character projects. By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16 AMP With Friends there is reciprocity. Deposits and withdrawals into and from each other. With associates their is some reciprocity. With assignments you probably won't get any deposits from them at all.

Ouch. They have affection and fondness for your yes. A love connected to your yes. They love your yes. When your yes leaves so does your affection Ask yourself, If all my yeses were turned to no would they still feel this way about me and still feel this connectedIf my season changes and you have to make changes, and their love changes, it’s not agape.
