Just love P Popper's matter of fact take on this. So true, just eat the whole food and stop overthinking

Yes, I agree. Nature needs to supply labels and directions of use for these plant foods.

I have a hard time stopping and eating nuts and seeds before it's too much. But I have found a solution...choosing a little sauce dish (one that you would put soy sauce in as a dip), and fill it with walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds a little coconut and some raisins or cranberries. I would take that little dish Knowing I can have the same amount each night so I can adhere to that instead of just handful to handful.

I weigh 40 grams out every day. When I travel I take a little dish for reference.

I don't have a problem if they ate RAW. But the cooked ones are impossible for me to control.

What about the anti-nutrients and physic acid in the nuts mentioned? Raw nuts vs soaked or sprouted nuts?
@fracritel2 жыл бұрын
Soaked easier to digest sprouted even easier

Omega 3 fats are fine to eat in high amounts says Dr. Brooke Goldner M.D. Flax seeds and oils, Chia and avocado. Everything else fat wise limit to no more than a handful a day. She gets people reversing all kinds of auto immune diseases this way and other chronic issues.

I can have chocolate in the house and other temptations after reading the Pleasure Trap and understanding why we are gorging on foods that are addictive. Refined sugar, coffee, alcohol etc Eat something green everyday eat berries, seeds and nuts. Don’t eat oil. Don’t gorge and exercise. Every year eat shit and feel how shite that makes you feel just to remind yourself why you eat a whole food plant based diet
@michaeljames20842 жыл бұрын
I eat them in small amounts. If you're trying to gain weight eat more.

Here's my method to ensure minimizing hazards from industrial processed n mass ag-mfgr. nuts n seeds etc "organic food"not grown by you: soak overnight in sea salt brine rinse then ferment w/beneficial bacteria..incubate couple days 105-110F drain then into dehydrator @107F 10-20 hrs...slight pickled flavor n crunch prebiotic/probiotic benefits

Does sprouting nuts make a big difference health wise, or is sprouting not necessary?
@imrevadasz45642 жыл бұрын
Good luck buying any actually raw nuts in the store. Sprouting will change the nutrient composition definitely, and usually makes things more digestible (because of enzymes). The only way to buy definitely raw nuts is, to buy them unshelled.

I respect these guys and I'll clearly going to live a long time. But I think there is a cost and you take things this far. They both look slightly emaciated. The question I wonder is does the person who has a richer diet which gives them more energy and charisma have a better life than someone eaking out their time on a super healthy diet, for a longer number of years of life. It's a genuine thing I wonder about.

The title of this video has Dr. McDougal on it but he is not in this video , I dont even think his name came up in the discussion , if this channel is going to play the click bate game and false advertise then Im going to stop clicking on these videos for this dishonest channel.

Quite a paranoid over reaction. So they made an error. I doubt it was a purposeful click bait.
