I haven't listened to anyone's music in decades. Work, work, work. Take care of the fam, plan for retirement, and work more. Someone introduced me to Tom's "You Missed" after the assassination attempt. After that, I listened to Tom Macdonald, EVERY DAY and became fascinated with their story, his early music, and the journey. This song is so beautiful, so honest and so tragic. IF it would give him peace of mind, walk away Thomas, and venture out into other things w/o the pressure to live up to other's expectations or giving too much of yourself. The HOG will be the HOG forever - no stress, no pressure. This dude gives everything and maybe it's time to recognize it's too much. Tom's so authentic, so genuine and I'd live off the tracks he's released to wish them a happy, peaceful existence. "All these rappers hate me, if they don't, I'll say they maybe should, H-O-G, the army...they say that crazy is as crazy does - So watch yourself, blood on our hands, don't bother us, we bathe in blood". He's my BEST RAPPER EVER - and maybe DON'T LOOK BACK instead of "Don't Look Down"? The reaction video was great, much love to BOTH OF YOU :)

My comment to Tom ------- Damn bro, I felt this at a visceral level and was brought to tears, for 2 reasons: 1st: because I don’t enjoy seeing anyone this depressed and I wish I could do something to help 2nd: because I’ve been there, not with fame but feeling that I failed my wife and 4 kids. Thinking they would be better off if I was gone is a very bad place to be. Let me tell you. I suffer from severe ptsd, depression and aniexity from the unspeakable things I had to do in Iraq. No one can help. Bc the last thing you want to do is talk about it. I refuse meds bc I'm scared to become addicted to something. So when he says he's living in hell is something I relate to. Bc when I'm awake my aniexity drives me insane. When I sleep, the nightmares make sleep something your scared of. So hell is something we live 24/7. I didn't ask 2 go to war but I served my Country. The person I was died there and the person that came back hopes everyday is his last. When ppl pat me on the back and say thank you kills me bc I hate the person i was died there and now I'm someone who counts down the days until this lifetime of hell is over. Great reaction guys. Tom's music has saved my life more than once!

I and several other HOGFam members were concerned and let him know it. He responded and let us know he is currently okay. People need to understand that "celebrities" are people too and they have problems like everyone else. Most folks don't understand that fame and wealth come with their own set of problems and stresses. In Tom's head he isn't a celebrity he's just himself...Tom.

What we should all do as fans and a hog fam is of coarse pray, but every now and then ask him and each-other one easy question. “How are you?” Or even “is everything ok ?” The admiration and looking up and appreciating this music and message is wonderful. But he’s Tom. This is his therapy. He can’t take pills. Being a recovering addict. At least he doesn’t hold it in and get to the Point where he explodes and dies inside. And might end up like all these celebrities who can’t take it and can’t fake it to make it and they end their life. This is healthy. And I love how real he is. He isn’t afraid to show emotions and vulnerability and that takes ballz of steel ballz dipped in carbon fiber liquid! Sorry. Had to go there. LOL. He’s ok. He got that off his chest. This is no cry for help. Tom goes to war against the machine because he's built for it, conditioned for it. He embraces it knowing full well there's a toll to pay for telling hard truths that most people don't want to hear. Cause & effect, man. This is the effect. A wracking pain that would destroy someone who isn't built the way Tom is. A toll he willingly pays not only for the fame he hungers for but for being allowed to champion for us. This song wrecks us because of Tom's ability to weave a spell with words so painful we can't help but understand how much of himself he's willing to give and do to make the world a totally inclusive place to live. Tom's in a bad head space. He seriously, seriously needs to take time. This song was recorded in Oct. The video was the release. Obviously he wants this out there to enlighten people the shit he deals with constantly. We've seen this before with the pressure of fame Chester Bennington, and Kurt Cobain. I'd hate to get on line and find that the worst had come to pass, and the pressure was overwhelming. I've seen people say "nah we talked to him he's okay." Well duh.... of course he's going to say that. He's not going to say yeah I'm a mess. Many Linkin Park songs were made about Chester's depression. Nobody knew how bad it was. I took my oldest daughter to see Linkin Park here in Toronto and my daughter and I were such HUGE fans of LP, when we found out about Chester who had a voice like the devil and an angel we both had tears and it hurt badly!
