IS THIS ARMAGEDDON? Mortal Kombat Kollection is VERY impressive!

Mortal Kombat Kollection is a decently balanced and fun Mugen, with plenty of variety in character roster, and some pretty amazing stages. Watch as I take on the tower using a character I was unfamiliar with, Khrome, while he reminds me of a cross between Ibuki from Street Fighter and Jax, this character is pretty darn cool!

I wish that all of these Mugens had the option to play with only the core characters and not the hand made or edited custom ones. The characters that are not part of main 2D MK rosters often look significantly lower quality

​@CyberLoLXYou don't know that. It's not hard to know someone. It's a MUGEN developer, not the POTUS. In 2007, I met Wally Shawn at Greyhound bus station in Cleveland. Correction, I saw him, not met him. I let him be because he looked angry and was already being crowded by a couple people in his personal space. I made eye contact and he looked furious, but he had a calm demeanor. I walked away to play Ms Pacman arcade. I didn't know his nameback then, just knew I saw him in a bunch of movies. Google wasn't readily available on my phone back then, so I didn't think to Google it. I didn't want to bother him without knowing his name first. I kept wondering why he would take a Greyhound. He's too good for that. I Googled him afterwards. Turns out , he's a playwright. He was probably doing something work-related at Playhouse Square. I told my friend about it and he denied it. He told me I was mistaken. He said that I didn't see Wally Shawn and that I saw someone who looked like him. He couldn't accept what I had witnessed as fact. I eventually found someone online that confirmed it was him and they rode with him on the bus. I think it was MySpace maybe. It was a while ago. My point is that Not everyone is an asocial basement dweller living in a rinky-dink Nowheresville, Idaho with no social skills and never has had contact with a celebrity. I know a guy who personally worked with Fabolous, Trina and Vanilla Ice. There are photos of him with Diddy. He used to be a producer. He made Hip-hop music in California for a decade. Now he lives back here in Cleveland and has a regular job. He's a normal ass dude named Brandon Bishop

@CyberLoLX I'll meet you halfway and say yeah, that's true. I don't know that either. I don't believe everything I hear as fact. That would be unwise. I just don't think there's a reason to lie about knowing a MUGEN developer. Why? To get attention in a comment section where nobody really cares? Javi Lopez is right there making videos. I exchanged a comment or two with him. I don't see the big deal. Darryl gets more views than Javi on videos of Javi's own game. There aren't even twenty thousand subs here. I just don't see the point of lying about something so miniscule. It's not like Ed Boon or John Tobias here. No offense to Javi or any devs.

Khrome I’m pretty sure is a fan made character. He has metal manipulation abilities. Which explains why he is able to produce ninja weapons out of nowhere and turn his legs into metal spikes

I never mind your point and shoot method. (I actually prefer it!) if you ever want to avoid the focus shifting, you can always try a manual focus mode if your camera’s got it!

Illusion-MK here. I designed this stage. And yes it was heavily inspired by Doom. With some elements of MK of course. I tend to make my stages very dark and gritty.

What do the coins(?) do in these MK Mugens, btw? There's that coin clink sound after winning a round, with a number and icon, but the number doesn't seem to be increasing gradually, as if to indicate an in-game currency, but seeming to change more or less randomly.

17:30 Watch what happens when he incorrectly enters a code at this screen. It subtracts 1000 coins from his tally. So at least we've found one thing the in-game currency is used for. Maybe there's other shit too.

They are used to input codes when the game is over. 1000 coins per turn. The codes are given during gameplay based on flawless victories.

That sucks. All I can say personally for my experience with Mugens is that every version I’ve played has been a quick download, extract, and then run… and if it doesn’t work I delete it and try another. I don’t spend much time if one doesn’t work because there are so many of them. But I’ll also say, I’ve only had maybe two or three not work. So it’s mostly all good.

Google Search pulls these games up easily. There is always one of you guys in the comments asking for a link. I've been there. I was that guy once too. Also, I put links in the comments of my community section that I found from other KZbinrs. You'll find many MUGEN titles and the original trilogy on MAME if you navigate through the posts. You can download them there. I'm not afraid of copyright because I dont monetize my videos. I dont get paid. I already have been sued for child support and taxes, so my wages are already intercepted by the government and seized. What are devs gonna do to me for sharing a link? Sue me? Absolutely and it’s free. Google Mortal Kombat Kollection Download and you’ll find it. There’s even a few videos on KZbin with the link for it in the description, just be careful when using those links as many will have pop ups and ads all over the screen and if you accidentally click on one then odds are you’ve gotten malware or a virus. That’s why I don’t leave the links in my play throughs.

AI can't create a whole game but it can be used for creating backgrounds, textures and sound/music. The 007 n64 AI remake you mentioned is just prerecorded footage reconstructed by AI, not an actual game.

How in the hell do you configure an XBOX controller for this via bluetooth? Every time I try to play one of these MUGENS, most of the buttons I press on the controller aren't being detected. Then, when it DOES detect the button presses, it says that it's a different button. The shit is driving me nuts. I just want to play the damn game.

Via Bluetooth was a problem with my Xbox controller for me so I bought a usb cable and just attach it when I play. It ended up being better in the long run because half the time it took me forever to get the controller and PC to sync.

These MUGEN games run on a potato. You don't even need a graphics card for most of them. You could probably find an old, used computer for under a hundred bucks and run these games. I got an old computer for $20 used from the library when they upgraded to new ones. I spent a hundred dollars and they sold me FIVE computers.
