The Deadpool in this movie is not really the actual Deadpool from comics.

Fun fact*: the first time logan/wolverine was referred to as his real name James (howlett) in the comics, was by a leprechaun, and wolverine replied by saying "i don't believe in leprechauns" (*if I remember right)

21:06 Well.... At least you watched this one first. This was an variant Deadpool to the one we know now. Current Deadpool fixes things in the after credits of Deadpool 2. It's a whole multiverse thing. Fox screwed the multiverse with time traveling stuff first, and Disney incorporated the multiverse to give us an endless supply of variants in case somebody dies. You'll just have to see for yourself.

Gambit (the New Orleans guy) is another popular X-Men. While he has some subset powers (like agility), his main power is always to convert the potential energy stored in an inanimate object into pure light kinetic energy, thus "charging" that item. The when he uses it, explosions.

I believe that more origin movies were planned by Fox at the time so that we could have an introduction to a lot of X-men characters individually. Not entirely sure where it went wrong, but I think that the backlash this movie got from the (comic) fans and the origins movie for Magneto being stuck in development hell were some of the reasons that they gave up on the whole idea. Now that they want to introduce X-men in the Marvel cinematic universe of Disney I am curious as to how well they will handle it. My confidence in modern entertainment as a whole is very low, so I hope I will be happily surprised when the new X-men are introduced. I could not find your reaction to X-men: The Last Stand and I would love to see what your thoughts are on that one. Your knowledge of cinematography and logical analysis of a movie are fun to watch.

I grew up with X-Men so they were important and was hyped for this. I think the best way to explain this film is some aspects of it where very enjoyed particularly things that were specific to Wolverine (I mean Hugh's acting, let's be real). Some other things were panned heavily. What happens from here is they pretty much keep the things that got applause and sort of throw a towel over that were panned going forward. It does lead to highly applauded films moving forward so in retrospect this is maybe a good example of what happens when filmmakers are open to the audiences and critics feelings towards their production. But you'll see that in the future (no actually idea how far in advance these are recorded but you get my meaning).

hehehe. You being upset with the woman did indeed frustrate me. ^_^ She wasn't a bad guy per say. They had her sister hostage, so she had to do what she could to save her sisters life. I mean, would I hurt others/lead others on to save a siblings life? I don't know. I don't have any. If it was my wife though? I'd do whatever they told me within reason. And in the end what she did really didn't harm Wolverine. It just enhanced him. Minus the whole memory loss thing.

Nope, this isn't the Deadpool we want you to watch. This is just a Temu or Wish version. lol. We mean the newer Deadpool movies. However you did need to see this Deadpool for a reason. It's all we can say. Granted when you find out why, its not really a super big deal. More of a nerd thing. lol Also, these are Fox X-Men movies. They are not connected to the MCU stuff. Well, I guess you could really think of it as and alternate universe. This Deadpool is not the MCU Deadpool.

This movie is not loved. So many lore issues, a dumb Deadpool version. Weird flow, story, shooting...etc. Every plot point, even to non X-men fans, were very predictable. I don't think its the worst Fox X-Men movie, but its near the bottom for sure. I still enjoyed it for the basic story of Wolverine. Deadpool was the biggest issue people had, along side the terrible CGI claws.

Dude are you skipping the after credit scenes? We see Deadpool's head open it's eyes, hinting that he's still alive. But of course, the whole drama around this movie was the director didn't care about the comics or continuity and absolutely ruined Deadpool's character. The subsequent movies fix this as Ryan Reynolds is a HUGE Deadpool fan.

Yeah this is the worst of the xmen movies and changes a lot of things from the comics. Wolverine and Sabertooth are not brothers, but have a bitter rivalry. While the movies made Wolverine the central star he was one of many characters in the xmen, who got the spotlight over the years. Wolverine does have his own spin off comic. What they did to Deadpool's character in this movie at the end of this movie was a tragedy. Some of the backing off comes from most of the xmen movies are PG 13. This is why you have to see the Deadpool movies which are rated R.
@ThatShyGuyMatt20 сағат бұрын
