What is the system that you seen with the beat results. You can say just with the 600 class? The reason I am asking is because I am building a killer bike and want only the best parts. This is for a 2005 zx6r 636. I also have a lot of work being done to the motor to make more power as well. If you were just a little closer, I would take it to you for a tune. @bacchusthompson58342 жыл бұрын
Do you have a Flash or Tune on the '05... Install "Block Plates", remove Secondary Throttle Blades, a good Filter, switch out the 2 middle Velocity Stacks (Long Ones) with 2 OEM short Velocity Stacks, Airbox Mod, and remove the divider inside the rubber Ram Air ducts. If you want to go further than that, install a Racing Head Gasket and have the Cams degreed... That will get you close to 170whp
@RealRickCox2 жыл бұрын
@@bacchusthompson5834 Interesting that you should mention the removal of the secondary throttle blades. I'm getting a weird error right now (error code 32) that is complaining about the secondary throttle sensor and won't let it rev past about 6500rpm. My bike has a power commander 3, but I'm suspecting something might be up with it. Can you point me to a video or place where I can buy all the mods you've suggested? I'd love to get this to do power up wheelies... it wouldn't do them even before this error started happening.

If I had one, my answer would be an unequivocal “no”. Straight from the factory, these bikes run 0-100 in 6 seconds flat and do the 1/4 mile in under 11. They’re blisteringly fast, faster than many earlier bikes with much more displacement and faster than most bikes period. So for me, the ~$2,000 required for a full system and tune would net me power and noise levels that are just not necessary. It already has a decent I-4 howl and it’s already fast as hell, dude. Leave it stock.

The Ebay stuff just doesn't hold up in my experience. Used to buy that crap for my cars when i was a teenager. The exhaust systems looked good till you had them on the car for a year. They would rot and fall off. Now on bikes where you probably aren't daily driving it i suppose it'll hold up longer but i'm a buy once cry once kinda guy. I spent good money on my Gen 6 ZX10. I'm not putting cheap junk on it. Just my 2 cents.
