Angelina's story is compelling and makes you want to help her achieve her goals. She is a talented vocalist who also gave her shoes to a homeless girl when she was six. She has helped raise over 20 million for children's charities. She has stated even as a child that her life's mission is to spread peace and love through the world through her singing. I believe her music career and humanitarian efforts should be embraced and supported. I first watched this video the first week I discovered her, over 3&1/2 years ago. I thought she was lip sinking to another person dying the actual singing. 'Born To Die' was a huge hit for Lana Del Rey. Because Angelina is a jazz singer whereas Lana isn't, Angelina is able to bring forth more emotion laden penetration than Lana. Also, the low register she attains in this song, coupled with her jazz style, just takes a great song to whole different level. The fact that it is being constructed at her home in a casual set-up just further amazes me. Any heartfelt ballad this girl sings covers for, are always more to my liking than the original with the only exception being two of Roberta Flack's songs.

There ARE actually reactors that have stopped reacting to her because they feel redundant; that they're not able to do anything but repeat themselves. I guess that's the most challenging part for a reactor when you encounter an artist of Angelina's magnitude. Because, to be very honest, words fall short. And that's not your fault. But until we can connect diodes to our head, showing in graphs and colors on a screen, paired with a description of what the different stuff means, that's all we got. That being said, I think you do an EXCELLENT job. You are very relatable to most of her fans, and ultimately that's want we want to see and hear. Your facial expressions and jaw drop are priceless! Her vocal talents on this one is just insanely unbelievable! And did you notice Angelina's beautiful, graceful hand movements as she's "feeling" and interpreting the song? I love her hand and arm movements here. Same on her indoor "Feeling Good" performance and her outdoor performance of "I Have Nothing" this past summer. Just mesmerizingly graceful. She has it all! Yep, she can sing looong lines without very deep breathing! Fantastic breathcontrol from a very young age, as many singers and vocal coaches have explained. Which helps a lot on the musical control too! There are many ways she is far ahead of young singers and better (and more tasteful and interesting) than a lot of famous adult singers like Lana del Rey and Miley Cyrus in my opinion. Let's hope her career launches skyhigh after she finishes school, like she deserves!

Yes, the 12 yo Angelina sings with such a mature sound. What is ridiculous? It's okay. Let the words out. Original artist is Lana Del Ray. Contemporary artist. Yes, she has incredible lungs and diaphragm. There is a video from Fall 2022 of Angelina sitting in the lotus position and singing "I Have Nothing." for Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett (longtime drummer for Michael Jackson, among others). That is lung/diaphragm power. Suggestion: Before reaction time, take a moment to sit and think about Angelina Jordan's singing thus far in your journey. Write down as many descriptors as you can.
