I could see from the opening shot of you and Aika walking along the trail that it was gonna be a winner! And it was really a beautiful film, Vanessa. I liked when you turned your back on Aika a moment and she walks off with your hammer... The part of you explaining the engineering behind your construction, and the absolute dedication to perfection was precious.. The green... Hallo Vanessa, it's good to see you back doing bushcraft and being happy, the shelter you made was good and low because heat will stay in a small place a lot longer and keep a person warm 😊, an idea for digging out would be to carry a garden hand ✋️ trowel they can be made of hard plastic so wouldn't be to heavy to carry in a backpack because your hands are important and you need to show people you are carrying a first-aid kit because you need to clean your wound and protect it then it won't hurt . You had some nice items from Spanish bushcraft I'm sure people will be interested and Hi to Aika . Good Video. 👍. ❤️Vanessa.

As soon as your video started my mind said "Well that looks familiar" ... and my memory of your "stalker" issue with the "game camera trap" came to the surface ... by 0:49 my eyes were already scouring the trees [from waist height down] for square / rectangle shaped boxes with dark circles on the front.

I am sure you know that even a dakpta fire must be put out properly so as not to create an enviroment that will cause it to burn roots or other debris underground causing massive forest fire. Vanessa, it's so great to see you back in the forest again and doing what you love! This video brought together several different elements that make a great video by you. You start off with the hike in, and then you gather your materials for what you're doing. Of course, this time you had Aika along and she wanted the sticks just as much as you did! The comedy was hilarious! It does suck that you got a blister on your hand. I hope it's healing up nicely now. Here's a question for you. Here in the States when we're kids we always loved making tree forts or climbing up in trees to get up off the ground. I'm not sure if you ever did that as a kid, but I'm curious, have you ever attempted to stay the night in a tree? I don't know if you have huge trees around where you could do that, but it would certainly make you try something completely new, and would give you a view of the area that you never had before. If nothing else, I've put the idea in your head now and who knows, you might start looking for trees big enough to try it. From a safety perspective, few people ever look up high when they're going through a forest so you're more likely to never be seen. Keep up the great work and keep smiling!
