The Malay people & food in Singapore are not called Malaysian. That's a nationality referring to our neighbour. We are Malay Singaporean, and food just call it Malay food.

If you love animals, you can head over to Mandai Zoo to visit our zoo or rather zoos. It's really a hidden gem only because it's distance away from Marina Bay haha. You can easily spend 2 days there as there are 4 zoos (with a 5th one upcoming) all in the same area.

Did you know though that Marina Barrage serves a bigger purpose? it was built to primarily convert the sea water to fresh water so it divides the sea from the bay (marina bay) - the bay being fresh water 😊 Hope you went through the gallery there to learn more about it. Do also go to URA Centre to learn about the urban development of Singapore. it’s next to Maxwell Food Centre 😊

Oh no! You missed the wonderful exhibition inside the marina barrage building. It shows how we succeeded in our struggle to be self sufficient in water supply and the amazing technologies we invented in our strive towards that objective. It also showcases the actual use of the marina barrage.

If it's got a smoky flavor in the cooked food, we call it "Wok Hey" which means it's really cooked well and flavorful! Also, you can get a bottle of water (600ml) for like 40 cents if you find an NTUC, Cold Storage or Sheng Siong supermarket around. it's 5x to 6x the price in convenience stores or shops in touristy areas

Authentic cendol should not have ice shavings which is actually ice kachang. True blue ones are from Penang. You watch the iChang video where she had lovely cendol( the type seldom found in Singapore).

Head over to changi village and take a boat to pulau ubin!! Some of the last standings kampung on that island. Just a 10 mins boat ride.. there are few islands that you can go to !

The Sultan Mosque has an iconic dome on top which can be seen from afar before even approaching Arab Street or North Bridge Road. Incredible as it sounds but it is supported by just a huge bunch of bottles!

You guys have explored much of Singapore. However, I have yet seen you guys venture to the nature side of Singapore. 😂 North-West - Sungei Buloh (mangrove swamp reserve), Bollywood Veggie (yummy food from farm to kitchen with a nice garden farm to explore) North - Mandai Wildlife Reserve - Singapore Zoo, River Wonder, Bird Paradise and Night Safari. Central - MacRitchie Reservoir (Treetop walk), Pierce Reservoir (beware of the macaques) with a nice food stretch in between. South - Kent Ridge, Labrador Park, Sentosa 😂, Lazarus Island, Sister Islands and Kusu Island North-West - Pulau Ubin (you'd feel like you're back in the 70s of Singapore)

Malay and Malaysian are the not the same concept or understanding. Malaysian refers to the nationality which is Malaysia. Malays refers to the ethnicity/race which are in both Singapore and Malaysia. It's like outside of China, everyone whose forefathers came from China belongs to the race Chinese, but we are not of the nationality Chinese (that is China). Any minority in China (for eg. Tajik, Uyghurs, Tibetans, Russians) are Chinese (that's the nationality, not th race). In China, all are Chinese but the majority (aka as Chinese to foreigners) race/ethnicity is Han (or Han Chinese).

If you have visited the Raffles hotel along Beach Road (have you wonder why the government of Singapore name this road "beach road" ?) you will be standing where it used to be the beach . Everything which is beyond beach road is sitting in the sea , Suntec City , Pan Pacific , Park Hotel , Singapore Flyer , Marina Bay Sand , Garden by the bay , Marina Barrage , there is even a underground tunnel that is under the sea in Singapore River which is MCE (Marina Coast Expressway)😮😂

I can't help wonder if you guys somehow got stuck in Singapore. Nothing against Singapore but, considering its size and it's essentially a city, even smaller in size than Hong Kong, the numbers of videos about it you guys have posted seem to be "excessive" comparing with the those you made about, say, Taiwan (which is much bigger than Singapore by the way and yet only similar number of videos), Thailand, Hong Kong., etc. Also, you stated it yourself that Singapore is expensive. So, either you love Singapore very, very much or you are/were stuck there for some reason LOL. By the way, I realize that just because this video was posted two days ago doesn't mean you were in Singapore then.

to be honest, you have not been to the true Singaporean neighbourhood yet. that is just the tourist area that you been. the best ones are to be found outside of the city area, where 80% of us living - thats our dearest HDB new towns.
