Is This Soviet ENLARGER Lens Any Good?

It's time to check out my first enlarger lens, the Industar-22Y! A curious Soviet enlarger lens with a Carl Zeiss history. Thanks to @the_ginger_john on Instagram for sending this lens to me.

I can tell you that most soviet era lenses and even Chinese lenses from the 1950s, 1960s +1970s and 80s were great because they were Zeiss lenses by another name, I know that Carl Zeiss Factory in Jena delivered tons of HQ lenses as bulkware to USSR, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Yugoslavia and China. This lens is a Leica Elmar / Zeiss Tessar copy its the same used in Leica 3 and most Fed 1 and Zorki 1.

@@SovietLensReviews yes most have imported Zeiss glass elements some Czech Meopta all very HQ! )There is no bad chinese camera because of this if they are maintained well.
