Great vid! As a person who's considering this software, I'm a little intimidated by which package I should purchase. It seems to add up to a lot if I wanted all the features ($$$$) so I need to be selective, but it's really confusing!

@@chrisbenn well, I raised a few tickets when I couldn't work things out, and with fairness, they do reply, but what I need is a single point of information that preferably guided, but sadly there's nothing. I would honestly have paid for the package if they offered that kind of resource. As it is, I've had to park this project for another time.

You should make a video of courses ( like the video on 3d channel about blender learning :- human course, gun course etc. ) same video for 2d animation for where to start beginner ,advance course etc . Becausethere are so many courses and a newbie like me 😅 never understand which one to choose. So please make a video on courses for advance softs like animate cc, harmony, moho etc.

But in his latest version have a lot of bugs and crash everything when i import a used character. I am still waiting for the update from the developer side.

I personally havent exeperienced any issues with crashing in CTA5, but I do know there is a new free update coming later this year and it has all new tools and features.

I've owned this software for over two months now, and I haven't been able to import a single graphic file successfully. SVG files keep coming in all black (RGB color palette). So far only works with their graphics. In fact, every tutorial video I've found has only used animator's graphics. I would not recommend it!

Might be a problem with your system. I have no problem importing SVG and PSD files. Also, the program isn't limited to animator's graphics, you can run any custom vector/raster graphics character from your preferred graphics design app.

No. You cannot do a full body 360 turn in CTA,

Yes. The G2 characters do still allow you to do a full 360 body turn in CTA5. Although there are a couple of people still working with G2's, I dont know of anyone currently producing new G2 actors with full body turns for the Marketplace. And you are correct in your assessment as to why. The process was not an easy one, which I can attest to. I made a number of G2 characters in my time using CTA, and the process was so lneghty that it did not make content development practical for anyone looking to earn a living from CTA as I do.

Yes, because you have the option to change the sprites, you can add dozens of images of the protagonist's body (any part of the body, items and such, anything). you can change absolutely everything.

Not really over exaggerated, why you didn't say that this software does only 360 for the head not all the body ? for example also rigging the face , the head, hands and so on !!! Moho , Toon Boom are the best

The difference of course however is that with the software you suggest, animators need to be confident with their drawing skills,, whereas with Cartoon Animator anyone can animate because it uses a puppet cutout system for building and rigging actors, and the software creates all the inbetween frames for your animation, and you can even apply professional premade motions to instantly animates your actors, making 2D animation fun and easy. WHen it comes to what is 'the best' software, the solution is always the software that gives you the results you want in the fastest and easiest way possible.

So, i did instal the trial of cartoon Animator 5 and try it out. I have also Moho 12.5 pro. And i most say Moho all the way. Thinking of upgrade to version 14. For me, Moho is more easy to work with. And, i like the layout.
