I have the these. The sound quality is a huge improvement over my old Sony Xm5s, and they're worth it for that alone. Just as well, really, as the rest of the unit is unexceptional for the price. I have no regrets. SQ is paramount and they're perfect in this regard.

Wrong - they are faulty. I repeat Pi8's are faulty. I bought mine from John Lewis cost me £349.99 and sent them back. The Bose QC Ultra in my opinion are infinitely better. Believe it or not, it's true. They have deeper, smoother bass than even the Sony WF1000XM4, not to mention Noise Cancelling just simply the best.

@@NasiLemakTech I believe it is because of their New and Odd driver material used. Try for yourself. Max up the VOL/EQ and then try Passthrough. It's not distortion but rather some heavy static interference. Mine were unlistenable.

@@BudgieFan101 Apparently ANC is the only decent way to listen to them, and also with passthrough turned off. This way, the sound is top notch. I think the price is ridiculous if they are bad at doing the basic of things reasonably good, like other midrange buds have been doing for quite a few years now.

@@human6.045 If you have £349.99 to drop on a pair of headphones save a little more and get yourself the Mark Levinson's 5909's or save yourself some cash and get the Bose QC Ultra IEM's which IMO outperform the Pi8 in every respect.

Noise cancelling is shit. They do not work for sports (they do not hold well enough and you hear lots of noises from friction). But other than that they are great ! (Have been using them for a couple of months now)
