Appreciate the review. Certain ryes are great for the summer as I tend to get more fruit notes from them than bourbon.

I agree, i realized i dont have many rye's around lol because i tend to drink them. I do believe this is one of those summer ryes.

Nice review. Not a big rye guy, so I only have Pipe Dream Cask Strength and Lost Monarch Cask Strength bottles. Really enjoy them. 🥃

I’ve been holding off on buying Redwood Empire. I haven’t tried any yet and I’m only about three hours from the distillery so it might have to take a trip this summer.

For me, its worth it. I haven't had a bad one yet, plus i like to support them because they plant trees.

That sounds like an interesting mashbill. I haven't had it yet. I would have to say Pikesville, KC rye picks, and Hemingway are all great offerings between 60 & 80 bucks.

I haven't pulled the trigger on the Hemingway Rye yet, the Pikesville, and KC Rye are very good
