Lovely job on the Pantera, I had the Matchbox one when I was a kid and even that was cool 😎

I think that would likely be as close as I get to owning one as well!

Absolutely gorgeous result. What a beautiful piece of automotive history to see in all its glory. Thank you so much for sharing this 😊

Thank you darling, glad you enjoyed it! I have to say, this didn't feel like "work" you know.

Wow what a car! Great idea about wiping with a rinseless towel, definitely going to try that. Not tried GT Rinseless but big fan of Armour Detail Supply Hero and DIY Rinseless for their dirt removing abilities. I’ve also heard Phoenix Hydra is meant to be excellent. Definitely the year of the rinseless wash battles!

You're not wrong, there's so many out there now. It's interesting that they all seem better than ONR now too - I've got so much ONR left as well, I'm just using it like a regular wash Shampoo on a lot of my client's cars atm just to use it up.

ohhhh beautiful, had a friend who had a red one with the huge rear spoiler on it. looked amazing when i was a kid. dont see many of these about these days.

The owner of this one actually had a red one as well, it was the car that they used in The Grand Tour! It's away having an engine rebuild at the moment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🤘

Wow! What a car and the sound of that engine 😍 the engine cleaned really well and I can see why you took the approach you did. Very lucky to work on such a iconic 70s car

Thank you darling! When I got into the engine bay, and it was going well, I thought to myself "this isn't work, it's a lot of fun!" - so satisfying to do. I just need the same amount of time to do my car now 😅

A brilliant watch, the result was fantastic! Surfex at 1:1, thats not something I'd thought I'd see, glad I did, a few people have said it can be a harmful product but, I've never see that. I'm just running out of P&S absolute, was going to have a go at Feynlab but, I'm now thinking GT 🤔. Loved the rinseless process you use, i often wash 2 times, mainly due to heat or sunshine, so a similar concept (actually did 2 x RW today, on the white Juke. All the best Adrian 👍

Ah darling, thank you! I think the idea that Surfex can cause issues is true, but it's usually because someone has let it dry out. Be it a really hot panel, hot wheels or engine, or just in direct sunlight and not realised how quick it will dry out, this is why I was wiping the residue off so quickly, and with a Rinseless, because that doesn't dry out so quickly in the sun and is very good as dissolving dirt...and other surfactants too by the looks of it. I'd definitely recommend the GT. I've not used the V3 of Feynlab, but I'd say the GT bests V1 as it cleans as well, but finishes better. I believe this is somewhat mitigated with V3 of Feynlab, but I can say from personal experience.

What a fantastic bit of artwork that car is Adrian!! A tricky beast with the open vents. Nice job my man 👌🤩

Thanks dude! This didn't feel like a chore in the slightest, although that was partly down to the fact that Surfex did just work, so I didn't need to try anything else.

@@SuperchargedLlama interesting results when dipping the greasy rag into both rinseless, I guess that’s where a surfactant based one comes into its own. From my experience Feynlabs has really good cleaning power, however I do prefer a rinseless that doesn’t foam
@SuperchargedLlama4 ай бұрын
@@benhook1850 as do I. Garage Therapy is really good in that respect, but I also believe the V3 of Feynlab is a lot better on that front.
@benhook18504 ай бұрын
@@SuperchargedLlama yes I’ve heard v3 is a lot better in that respect. I recently bought ADS Hero, that doesn’t foam and is nice to work with but I don’t think it cleans quite as good as Feynlabs

Superb (and back breaking) work there. Thank you for all the little explanation details you give. Much appreciated. Now.... GT Rinseless. Definitely want to see a full review of that. Things I look for in an RW are cleaning power, wash media dirt releasing abilities, and how easy dried polymer spots are to remove. ie clean one panel at a time then dry or can I clean most of the car then dry it? If GT can clean well then it may replace Hero and DIY on my shelves. Really really really want to see this. Thanks again
@SuperchargedLlama4 ай бұрын
That's something I'll look into when I review the Rinseless (I'll try to remember at least). It seems to clean as well as Feynlab V1 (which I have atm) and finishes as easily as ONR, but it releases dirt like Feynlab too!

Great job on this classic, very sensible with the water, (Italian electrics 😅) I used to work at a race track and saw these thundering around some track days 👍. Have you ever used KCX Motorplast on engine bays, it’s fabulous stuff.

I think the closest I've gotten was at a Goodwood day when I saw one flying around. They sound phenomenal don't they? I've not tried motoplast but that's reminded me to get some once I've used up a bunch of other products - Koch Chemie is the one brand where, if I could only use one brand for everything, it would be them.
