In my opinion, the best polo to buy is a Highline/GT TDI. You can get a well maintained '15-'17 model for around 4L and after that the sky is your limit for mods.... Just get a stage 1 remap and you'll be smoking nearly all cars on the road.... Plus it's highly efficient too returning around 17 km/l in bumper to bumper traffic and approximately 25 km/l on the highways....

@@ContainershipMAN Read carefully again what I've written- " the best *POLO* to buy.... And on top of that, you cannot daily drive an abarth punto... Sure it is an excellent car but spares are a nightmare to find and since it's performance oriented, the ride and handling is pretty stiff which is not at all good for our shitty indian roads... And fyi I actually own an Abarth Punto which is currently stock but have plans for stage 2... For India, abarth punto is to be kept as a weekend car (atleast according to me)

@@OsamaBeenBallin_911 yes I do agree 👍 on stiff suspension part good for highway but not so great on bad roads . I suggest Stage 1 + is sufficient get some short shifters from peakmu, braces + mount + garret IC the stock Ic is small , going stage 2 means will be difficult to get pollution certificate, Mine is currently on full exhaust + all the above , I felt stage 1 is good enough Stock exhaust + the above will make a great difference, polo is a good car but it lacks the refined hydraulic steering n stability of abarth but yeah do agree it's a better city commutter + decent performance 👍

Volkswagen India can actually mate the Virtus engine to the Polo and make changes for India and also modernise the Interior which can be seen in the VAG 2.0 Cars. If they do so, then we can say bye bye to i20 n line. There are possibilities, if they hear the consumers and enthusiast expectations, they can meet their demands too. Overall, if they bring back the Polo, it would lead the hatch market.

Keep dreaming kiddo. No one wants a 20 year old chassis to new engines. If they sell so, you cab expect less than 100 units getting sold every month throughout india. Then theres brand image that gets tarnished if they keep selling two decade old cars in the country. Remember what happened to mitsubishi. Atleast have some sense before commenting something stupid like this

@@srikanthr5446 Excuse me. I just stated the emotions of auto enthusiats. Remember Mahindra scorpio? The same design elements are still being used and sold as Scorpio classic and people love the scorpio even though there is the Scorpio N. The OG scorpio's chasis is still being used and people are buying. My intent was to just bring back the polo and sell it under 10 lakhs just like old times with the modernised bits and added practicality. No one is stupid and baseless. I just spoke as a fellow car enthusiast who loves handling of cars like these. If they do so, people like us would be satisfied and this is a personal opinion as an enthusiast and its upto the company to decide. Its not about new or old chasis, its about the iconic shape of the car as well.

@@tuneerghosh3464 yes sir but what i intended is for Vw to use the India specific platform which is the MQB and use the polo's body to bring it back with new features. Ofcourse what i say is an overall idea. It needs to be implemented on paper to be much more accurate.

11 lakh m VW bas ek 1.0 tsi engine deta hai. VW failed to update Polo, i20 n line m har wo cheez hai jo aaj k time ki gaadi m honi chahiye, waise hyundai vw se zyada reliable hai and guys i20 n line with manual is next level thing, jab polo se fursat mile tab le lena test ride pata lag jaega. Polo is outdated!!!
