I tried this hybrid on my Pro Staff 97 v13 a couple of years ago and didn't like it too much. It provided enough power but not enough spin/bite on the ball. It might have been because, at the time, I was used to gut/rough poly hybrids. Now, I play with gut/Iso Speed Cream, which is round, and it's one of the best feeling hybrids I've played with. I might have to give this a try again and play through the break-in period lol.

Nice -- I think I saw someone ask on a comment before, or maybe not. But can you get Toroline strings? I emailed you a couple days ago, if you can't I'm willing to send you a pack or two of different strings. I'm just getting into them myself, haven't played any yet, but I bought a few packs, likely will buy a few more of different ones from them. They got 4, 6 and 8 sided poly's as well as a few round ones. They're supposed to have superior snapback and slick coating like ReString, tho it seems Toroline came onto the market before ReString did.

Hi, I replied to your email. Unfortunately, I cannot find Toraline strings locally in Hawaii. If anyone has any strings from lesser known brands they want me to review, I would be happy to try them if you could send them to me.

Yellow cyclone 1.20mm is BEST

Didn’t the cyclone cut into the gut of its the main string

Wondering this myself. The fact that he said gut snapback was good is a pretty impressive complement considering the shaped crosses

Durability isn't high on my priorities for what I look for in a string since I cut them out once a month anyway. But the Cyclone isn't a super sharp string and the V Icon is coated so I think durability would be ok.
