As a former Traeger+ user, I can honestly say that switching to Asmoke has been a game-changer for me. The precise temperature control, versatility, and convenience that Asmoke provides have truly elevated my grilling experience. Whether I'm grilling in my backyard or out camping, the ASMOKE Essential's portability makes it my go-to grill. The smart design, coupled with the ASCA™ technology and FlameTech patent, ensures perfect cooking results every time. Plus, the ability to remotely adjust temperature and monitor food temperature via the app is a feature I never knew I needed until I had it. And let's not forget the added bonus of being able to create and share recipes! Traeger+ was great, but Asmoke is simply in a league of its own. #Asmoke

Tommy great video bud. I just picked this unit up, question in regards to the burn off? Is it ok to do it with the lid close? I’m new to the smoking game so all this is new to me.

Hey Tommy just wondering if your gonna make anymore Videos on your thoughts of the Asmoke Portable Pellet Grill. I have issues trying to keep a low temp. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

I may. I was pretty upset(well not upset)but maybe pissed that this unit had no pull for the sear.

I scored an almost new Z Grills A200 with stand for 85 bucks. Been using it in my garage as it gets colder outside. It is an excellent pellet grill.

Tommy, it looks "CUTE", maybe for if the wifey and I were to go camping, or traveling. Good for that but I'd just own a big one, because even though it's just me and my wifey, I/we like to make a lot.... when we go out traveling/ camping etc. we bring some of my frozen already cooked food and just have to warm it up. Very good of you to show this thing off for some people that maybe LIVE: on the road.... good idea Tommy > thanks to you for showing this thing off.

I just watched your video, and after comparing it to other grills of this type, I decided to get this unit. I am wondering if you can control the smoke and not get to much of a smokey taste? I like to taste the meat. I really do enjoy your videos, you seem to know what your talking about and you seem to be honest in your evaluations. You explain things very well.
@thegalleryBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, bud. I love this little grill. It'll add some but not a lot of pellet smoke. You can control smoke taste by using different pellets. I love Apple and Cheers. Some like Mesquite may be a tad stronger. Cheers brother, enjoy, and thanks for watching.

A lot of people say Traeger's pellets have the least amount of smoke flavor.

Hi Tommy. This unit reminds me very much of the Traeger Ranger. It doesn’t appear to have any more grill space than the Ranger. It would be interesting to see how it compares in performance to the Traeger equivalent?
@thegalleryBBQ3 жыл бұрын
Yes it does Peter. Also Pit Boss has one out.

They also didn't make the upper grate larger, like in the test models.

Hi Tommy thanks for the review, I’m this close in getting it… but I want to ask how big is space on the rack? I’m planning on doing a lot of smoking while camping, hopefully I can occasionally smoke a whole dino ribs in this

Tommy the AS350 is a nice portable pellet grill but for my money the Pellet Pro Sidekick by Smoke Daddy is heads and shoulders above all others…….if you get a chance take a look! Pellet hopper is on the outside not inside like the Asmoke!

Had mine less than a month when the fire rod quit working. The factory rep wanted an incredibly detailed video of what was the problem. I told him that the fire rod was not heating, he supposedly is sending me a new one, haven’t received it yet. It is under a roof in an outdoor room and I have taken excellent care of it the short while I’ve had it. It cooked well, too, but I’m missing a lot of holiday cooking on the grill because of a defect for which I am not responsible. Will report back later.

Yeah, im at a loss on this. I mean, everyone would want that sear plate handle but to only include it in some, is baffling!
@johnmbell46423 жыл бұрын
Hey Tommy, interesting portable cooker I hope the handle is an oversight and not an option I’ll keep checking for their response. Speaking of portable grill i’ve been thinking about a gallery barbecue get together maybe next spring or summer a bunch of us could gather at a park or campground bring our grills and have a great barbecue I’m in Michigan I would throw my grill in the truck and drive out there no problem my buddy move to Connecticut I’ve been wanting to visit him I could kill two birds with one stone. Just a crazy idea but I bet it would be a pretty big turn out have a great one as always🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

Just got this unit myself and it doesn’t have the outside handle to move the plate ether, pretty disappointed in that. Also some Chinese guy must’ve wrote up the instruction manual because there’s broken English everywhere in it.

Yeah. They should have never sent out prototypes with handle and sold one's with-out!!

Pellet pro side kick is hands down much better than this grill. Way over priced for cheap materials used on this grill. Also the side kick is only 25$ more.
