Record-wise, could be.. but in a 7-game series against the top teams that you mentioned, plus some other teams that you didnt like the Steph/KD Warriors, Badboy Pistons, 2014 Spurs, Heatles, I dont see these Cavs coming out as the winner

No they need a lot of players to score 20 points just to win. The 73-9 warriors were better only needed two players to average 20 points and other players who only scored 13 points or 8 and won games before the 4th quarter. Better defensive team

@@Jaysterninety1 Did the '17 Warriors have a Hall of Famer for a sixth man the way the C's did (Bill Walton, in the last year he was healthy?) That Boston team, besides the five HoFers on the roster (Bird, McHale, Parish, Dennis Johnson, and Walton), also had two other guys who had been or would go on to be All-Stars (Danny Ainge and Scott Wedman), plus three guys who had been or would end up as serviceable starters on other teams (Jerry Sichting, Sam Vincent, and Greg Kite.) That team went 10 deep and the franchise won three titles, made two other Finals, and reached the ECF three other times in a nine-year stretch (1980-88) in an era where if Magic Johnson didn't exist, they might've won five rings at least. Y'all kids don't know how stacked the NBA was back when there were only 23 teams total and only about 6 that mattered (Boston, LA Lakers, Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit, and Houston.)

I like the under dog type teams. The Cavs aren't being flashy or arrogant. They're winning but they're staying under the radar so to speak. The media is so focused on LeBitch James, the asinine launching of 3 point attempts and changing the "all star" game format while the Cavs are quietly attempting to put together a historic season.

Cavs now have no shot at the record (they are 35-6; would need 39-2 finish to go 74-8) Plus they would mostly likely rest their starters their last few games from the playoffs, and learn from the 2016 Warriors' mistakes. Also those two one point games against Milwaukee? That could've easily gone the other way.

This team is not nearly as good as their record. OKC exposed them without playing any bigs. Just ran them off the court. A 30-2 run and we’re up by 42 after 3 quarters before putting in the 3rd string. Would the best team of all time allow that to happen to them? OKC has much better statistics in a tougher conference.
