If Caitlin's first half of her rookie season was like her 2nd half, then caitlin had a strong chance of winning the 2024 mvp award, as a rookie. I say that, to say this, "barring any injuries, caitlin will win the 2025 mvp award, clearly." Also, aja Wilson won her last mvp award. There is a changing of the guard. Even with new talent coming into the league such as Paige, juju, flau-jae, van lith, etc. Caitlin will be on top of all of them, for the next 10 to 15 years. We have begun the age of caitlin clark.

AJa Wilson is a ball hog that's why she had 1000 points and lousy 84 assists. Yeah, but that's the way it should be. A'ja is a scorer, Caitlin is a baller! She's like a mix of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. She's actually fun to watch. First time I've watched the W since I stopped after Candace Parker got full of herself. Even while pulling for Candace, the WNBA just was not exciting, to be polite about it. I don't understand why the league doesn't protect the future. All they need to do is call fouls on women who blatantly foul Caitlin. Just because she's white AND not a lesbian, she's been pounded from the start of her career. Come on, WNBA, do the right thing!

Clark won't be competing against Bueckers next season. She'll be competing against her chief rival, herself. Don't forget, Bueckers and Clark were freshmen the same year, but Bueckers choose to exercise her fifth year option because she missed the 2022-23 season due to her injury. She's exactly where Swoops said Clark was last year. Let's see if anyone remembers that.
@almawasilewskiАй бұрын
Geno is banking on Paige to win the Championship. She still has the option to play next year also, but she sould leave either way imo
@philwebb59Ай бұрын
@almawasilewski Agreed. Bueckers turned 23 in October and she should move on. If she plays another year for Geno, she'll be one of only 3 women to play 5 years in Division I basketball, making her the oldest rookie since 2005. But, barring further injuries, she could end up with 171 games played. That would make her #2 for career games played, just behind Tiffany Thompson, who played 5 years, 1999-2005. Another year would give her a shot at pulling down some other career collegiate records as well. Geno would be so proud.

I can only imagine Satou Sabally playing on this team? They would have the top 6 players in the league on one team! Indiana has good people on their team and Sabally would fit in perfectly. She is beautiful, can ball, is a team player, and a good person. One attractive thing about Indiana, they have good people on that team! No face slapping, no trying to hurt other players, no two handed pushing players to the floor, they play the game the way it was intended to be played. They need another big that has the skills of Sabally and they could make some real noise in the league. I have a theory that you have around 10 years to make your run for greatness as a great team and win at least 3 Championships during that time, you just have to want it and you can't have one bad series

I think her turnovers will fall and her three-point percentage will rise. 32.7% from three before the Olympic break, 36.9% after. I also expect she'll forgo a lot of threes to make passes instead, so APG will be higher. I think 40% from three is a possibility. If she does that, she's unguardable. Bottom line: with six months of rest and practice behind her plus an understanding of what she's up against, Caitlin Clark, barring injury, could have a monster year.

Yes, she will have her off nights, like everyone else does. But the rest of the time, she will go about her business, scoring, loading up the assists to make her teammates look great, stealing the ball, and getting those rebounds, too. A quadruple double is coming, folks. Just a matter of time.
