Hi everyone! This week, I have decided to give another try to my “poor quality” oil pastels. A few months ago, I have bought a pack of 36 oil pastels from Jaxon. I have found these oil pastels hard to layer and not so nice to use… In this video, I give them another try, looking for ways to work with their limitations! And a palette knife comes in very handy 😉
The painting took be about 20 minutes to complete.
Supply used 🎨 🖌️
- Jaxon oil pastels: black, grey, prussian blue, cobalt blue, dark green, dark brown, pale pink, white
- Homemade watercolor sketchbooks with Hahnemühle watercolor paper - Le Rouge, 325g/m2, 24x32 (100 % cellulose)
- Palette knife!
