Is this the best Van??? Nissan Primastar - Renault Traffic 2023 Van Tour

I take a look around a Nissan Primastar 30 2022 model. This is the 2.0 Auto Tekna L2 H1 150ps
Same setup as the Renault Traffic van.
Lots to like on these, especially driver comfort and safety!
Well worth checking out in the value equation for an awesome work van.

Nice review. I have a Trafic on a 22 plate and have covered 25000 miles so far. Very pleased with this van, my model (sport +) has 147 bhp, which provides a spirited and refined drive. I have previously rented a Transit custom van and a Vauxhall Vivaro (no longer based on Trafic, same as Peugeot Expert) and so thought I'd list their differences and my perceived advantages & disadvantages compared with my van. Transit Custom has lightest steering and an extremely tractable engine, it pulls well from just over 1100 rpm (model had 130 bhp). Trafic steering is heavier, but still very smooth and manageable with one hand, as was the Vivaro. Trafic engine pulls well from 1500 rpm, the Vivaro was predictably more rev hungry as it had a 1.6 litre turbo (unknown power). Transit has best screen, followed by Trafic, then Vivaro, but all performed well enough. Trafic and Transit both have full size under seat storage, Vivaro disappointing here with only a small storage well under the middle seat. Performance will of course be down to power level selected on any van, but always at a price of course. Legroom in the Trafic very good and cabin is noticeably more roomy than other two, Transit manual's clutch pedal really restricts your left leg placement...you cant stretch it out, but Vivaro does have dedicated foot rest. Manual gearboxes seemed good on all three, Transit probably the most refined and slick. Price and value is where I felt the Trafic really scored well, I got 147 bhp, rear view camera and full climate control, along with a quality cabin feel for £31,000. Similar spec Transit was over £16,000 more, that's a lot of cheddar. I didn't look at the Vivaro prices. A good choice for owner drivers who may not require the best weight carrying capability, as this video has pointed out. Trafic also comes with 12 year anti corrosion warranty, which is outstanding, not sure what the other two have.

Good thing about the auto wing mirrors, it is a good visual indicator to make sure you have locked the van.

Have got the same. Apple car play doesn’t work on mine most of the time. Other than that there great. Love the grain detail on the dash as it’s really different from every other van I have had.

I had an issue with a long USB lead funny enough. Read the book and swapped to shorter and seems okay lol. We shall see.

Great video mate! Concerning the transmission - In Nissans defence, almost every car is using PRND(L), since this is the standard way of doing it since the invetion of the automatic gearbox :)

I have since realised I was talking nonesense as the gearbox is exactly the same in the VW. I don't drive the good lady's car often and got muddled up🤣

Nissan must be very confident to offer 5 year warranty when Renault offers 3(and all the other manufacturers) I am waiting for mine after owning a Transit Custom for 3 years wich was the most unreliable van ever owned, hope this one will be better
