Just got back from a trip to the Highlands of Scotland (on a tour of Glasgow, Inverness, and Edinburgh) and as a Floridian… WOW! What a beautiful country, culture, and people!!! Really love the caravans we saw over there and wish we were in the right continent to really take our time and visit the greener pastures y’all have over there (: Great video, thanks for sharing your trip!! I’ve flown in there and stayed many times in Oslo. That Opera house you have is stunning. Haven’t driven over there yet but now I’m on Long Haul I probably won’t. E

@@Back_Road_Hero I see, but Lofoten is way up north with wild mountains and the Norwegian See outside. We drowe up and stayed in "fishermens cabin", drowe around to the white beaches, viking museum (Lofotr Vikingmuseum) and saw all theese wild mountains...

It’s just our experience but the weather was pretty wild. Still shouldn’t have leaked like it did. Bloody noisy as well. More so than our ground based tents. You can also leave your tent and go to dinner without having to pack away. A ground tent is already set up (albeit takes more time) Ed

It would take a level of planning that, for me, would override the enjoyment. There’s barely a fuel station on Mull let alone an EV charger. They recommend filling up on the mainland before the ferry crossing. It would make an awesome video though. I might do Skyfall in the e-Tron GT? But not the islands. Make sure that you get the ChargePlace Scotland card BEFORE the trip as it’s pretty much essential. Enjoy your Macan, I believe that they’re awesome. Ed

Nice change of from the QV ... Sold my QV and went down the route of a late Defender Puma all kitted for wild camping adventures 🥹... Thought about a roof tent but with 3 dogs myself and old age creeping up, I decided on an OZ Tent ... great bit of kit if you can find one. Must have been a Biatch waking up to that sodden mattress , especially when you consider the price !! however it looks like you made some great memories for yourselves and those lovely dogs. Hope you post more of this kind of content
