I visit Burgers as often as I can. Once found a type of house gecko in the Bush hiding in a bromelia, near the entrance of the Ocean. Also possible to find millipedes, found them near the little house with Coca cola on it.

So cool! There is so much to explore and find there. Maybe one day I should spend the whole day just in the bush.

Amazing. So nice to see a zoo where so much care and thought is involved. Animals are such a blessing.

Awesome video of a 'happy place'! Downside of a zoo: other people (with an other pov) visiting the zoo...

Again, great job in putting this together. That little bird singing his song among the clamour of talking visitors is too much.

Good idea ;) plantwise they dont have the most rare stuff but overall I really like it. They have some great treespecies.

Great video! The manatees and Fiddler crabs are by far my favorite part of this zoo. Sadly as of recently Both the Red lynx and the Caiman have passed away and as a result have empty exhibits.
@terrariumchannel4 ай бұрын
Aah that is a bummer to hear :( glad I was able to see them before then went I guess. Curious what will happen in the setups on longterm. You have any idea?
@hiddenchinrollingwyvern7144 ай бұрын
@@terrariumchannel from what I’ve been told they’re looking into what’s available at the moment, but are going to try and find something that fits with the theme of the biome. So for the red lynx replacement that would be a different North American desert animal, idk about the Caiman though. But I haven’t heard anything concrete yet.

Burgers is denk ik voor velen de dierentuin waarmee ze dingen vergelijken😂. Of in iedergeval voor de mensen die eco displays leuker vinden als 1 diersoort- 1 verblijf. Groetjes Peter Oostbeek

I loved this zoo when I visited, but the weather wasn't so good - I would have liked to visit it twice on my stay in Arnhem but time didn't allow, especially as I was keen to visit Apenheul on the same trip. I hope to visit again one day

Hope you can make it back there with better weather.

Haha isn’t this the dream?? I’d love to have “The bush” mixed with the mangrove house to myself one day! I can’t wait to experience these in person

Man for sure. Imagine a big greenhouse where you start at a waterfall and walk along a stream in the tropics ending up at a mangrove shore.

You should go to cosmocaixa in barcelona if you ever have the chance, I love the igapó they have there.

@@terrariumchannel Hey - this is unrelated but do you think I could house java finches and possibly a button quail with australian water dragons, south american fish and pink bellied side necks? It would be in a 700x400x370cm greenhouse.
@terrariumchannel6 күн бұрын
@glub9075 thats a nice size! Aussie waterdragon and Emydura is something that might work although there is a chance that the aquatic turtles might nip at toes and tails from the waterdragons. Adding birds I am not experienced enough to day but because of potential predation and disease managment I would advice against it.
