There is a load of options but i would consider the red card legendary shield or his hybrid versión to make the list, sliding onto someone just for a small explosion and losing your shield is not appealing even if its for triggering skills or anointments that require no shield

another honorable mention is the rez pistol that can indeed res a friend. but it can also oneshot them, when me and my friend played through the game we had to make a truce not too use it bc the temptation of insta downing eachother was too high.

The Binary Operator could have been the coolest sniper in the game. If they'd just either made its damage scale properly to the amount of health enemies have on-level, and/or simply dropped the hidden damage stat in favor of a 50/50 chance of just killing any nonboss enemy in the game.

Well, the EMP grenade seems pretty useless, especially when the Storm Front exists. Or you know. A regular shock mirv grenade. Or really any gun with sufficient damage. Most people aren't gonna waste a grenade slot on just stripping enemy shields.

Vibrapulse was such a disappointment. Used to be among the best lasers in TPS. I remember getting it early on in the game's life cycle, before mayhem levels or anything and it still couldn't do anything. IMO the Gettleburger was fine as a concept. Borderlands has always been about weird and wacky guns, so a launcher shooting burgers fits right in. Shame that it's an awful gun.

Not sure if it was designed to troll but the snowshoe and red card with moze's bloodletter can affect the slide/slam mechanic in a ridiculous way. Actually really fun when used with the rocket boots or launch pad but wildly absurd with the spark plug

You neglected to mention that if you're trying to get Miss Moxxi's Vibra-Pulse, you _absolutely cannot_ slip Moxxi your tip. There's a joke in there about not needing a Vibra-Pulse if you can find the Crit, but I'm not sure if KZbin is ready for that one...

So if you tip Moxxi at all you can't get the Vibra-Pulse? What if you complete the challenges after tipping her? Does it just give you a random Unique?

@@cortos_9733 If you tip her even once before completing all of the radio towers, you won't get the Vibra-Pulse. There is a sequence of rewards that she will send you by mail, a weapon skin and one or two trinkets. The final reward is the Vibra-Pulse, but if you have tipped her she doesn't send it. You get nothing. Why? Because Gearbox. They _love_ trolling the players. They invented the Bane, for rakk's sake.

Burning Summit is great on a clone build where you need to kill clone to proc his Dopoelbanger Nova. Especially on a terror build. It at least has a build where it works. What about the Creeping Death?One of the coolest names for a gun and it doesn't even tickle enemies

My hate for the NOG potion #9 knows no bounds. It's bound to it's own side mission so you have to go out of your way to get it. Applying its effect lasts a measly 10 seconds not that a normal NOG lasts that long against literally any other Maliwan unit. It makes NOGs fight for you instead of their actual purpose of applying a shield. Its ONE saving grace is since it's always shock it can crack shields.

I mean with the Burning Summit, it would've alright if a build depended on A "on shield break" or "shield depletion" effect, well in reference to payday 2 the Molitov was used to break armor for speed boosts to run faster maybe a whole speed build might be alright to use to get from A to B if you weren't someone like Zane, and lacked a bit of mobility in a sense, Utility wise Summit sounds okay, combat wise Mmm no, and sounds like the troll weapon to troll peeps or friends with. Not including Linoge (BL3 gub) and _the GUB_ being troll drops for everyone and decent in niche situations, but overall a grab and toss into *The Grinder.*

A few I'd put on my list (or honorable mentions): - the Firewall: nobody ever wants to use projected shields, so let's make one that's not only locked to projected, but which has a gimmick that only works when it's projected. - the Boring Gun: it doesn't have enough damage to use (even in normal mode or Arms Race) but it excels at ricocheting back and blowing you up. - the Phoenix Tears: you run all the way up a bunch of switchbacks to farm a boss with three unskippable phases separated by lengthy immune phases (which is immune to incendiary damage) to farm this artifact, and what does it give you? full health and shields on Second Wind, which would be cool except you can get that literally FOR FREE once you unlock the second perk in the Survivor tree in Guardian Rank. - the Vosk's Deathgrip: this drop exclusive to Wotan the Invincible, the raid boss at the end of the Maliwan Takedown, fires a singularity that almost always fails to trap enemies in its effect, but when it finally DOES you're rewarded with the most underwhelming damage imaginable. at least it's also an ammo hog! - the Pain is Power/Embrace the Pain: these guns gain extra damage or fire rate at high heat at the cost of setting you on fire. this makes them completely unusable in Mayhem difficulty (the scaling means they instantly down you) and Arms Race (low survivability due to lack of skill trees means self-damage is a no-no), though I guess you CAN make them work in normal mode. - the AutoAimè: it's a sniper...with tracking bullets...that home in on enemy center-of-mass...so you can't score crits with it. it's a sniper. - the Mind Sweeper class mod: don't get me wrong, this item is fantastic and provides the damage for some of the strongest Moze builds...but it also means you spend your time dancing around so you're not one-shotted by your own mini-nades. Moze already has to be paranoid about friendly fire, but this cranks it up to 11.

The Lucky 7 (I think that's the name) a revolver from the Handsome Jackpot dlc. It rerolls how the gun works every time you reload, and if you get unlucky it hits like a marshmallow 😭

Pretty sure the Night Flyer is meta. Imagine using Ties That Bind to overkill an enemy that has exactly 1 HP: maximum Remnant damage every time. Also, why would you drive when you can slide much faster than cars...? The Infinity pistol has always been more of a utility weapon than an actual weapon. In BL3, you can use it with the EMC anoint to detonate enemies you've set on fire. Players that don't have access to the Guardian 4N631 may want a fire elemental Infinity to boost their damage further while they're burning things with the Unleash the Dragon artifact. I'd much rather use an Infinity pistol for that, instead of a weapon that needs to be reloaded.

maliwon guns. I had played the other three games bl1 bl2 and the presequal I bought bl3 close to release and when my first maliwon wepon took a few seconds to fire I was like what is this shit were they smoking crack? I hated it I still do not use maliwon weponds due to the start up time it is not worth it due to me not being able to just auto fire the thing.
