You’re my go to for lawn tips. I’m a beginner and I appreciate the videos! Also I’m in NJ can I put down one last spread of fertilizer?

Thanks 🙏🏾 and I appreciate you watching. I am not sure where you are located in NJ but I know that some areas have a Fertilizer blackout date in November which you can no longer apply fertilizer with N and P after that date. At this point in the season, I recommend do not make another Fertilizer app. Most of the nutrients would not be utilized by the plant, would be a waste of money and potentially harmful to the environment. Just start preparing for next season.

I had the same problem with spots struggling on my lawn, i dug down in those spots and found rusty metal from when the house was built. Have a little dig and see what you find below. 👍🤝 I used to be obsessed with my lawn but the crane fly larvae kept killing my lawn. Felt like I was fighting against a brick wall, they beat me! Do you have this problem where you are.

Yeah I know there is some tree stump debris in a couple spots from when trees were removed by the previous owner. As for the back part of the lawn I know the tree roots are playing a factor bc I did a full till when I renovated the lawn 4 years ago. I have any issues with insects in lawn. Some areas close by have had issues with army worms but I was lucky I guess. Thanks for watching from across the pond 🙏🏾💪🏾🌱

Love the lawn, I overseeded with that MVS and it just did so much better than the Rhizometous stuff from Barenbrug (color). I'm in TN and we still workin down here! Lawn is shining like the sun, thanks for the tips; drop a brick on it! Hey do you use bio-stimulants? And have you thought about putting out a lawn guide. You and the boi's could put out an awesome guide. 3 experiences combined in one guide would be murderous

I have overcrowding in stripes where the seed fell from the spreader. How to thin out after winter?

At this point, now that the grass has established itself over the winter, I would not worry about it. Let nature take its course some it may dye off throughout the year. Keep an eye on those areas for disease pressure when that time of year comes around.
