nice build! humm i wouldn't say the bike encapsulates everything that is "cutting edge" in road bikes right now. more like "marketing edge"

I did not know that classified can work without their shift button.. How did you set it to work with the lever buttons? :)
@veloatelier6122 Жыл бұрын
There is now a custom modification we can have done to connect the Shimano levers to the Classified wireless unit so that you shift the Hub just as you would a front mech.

Probably a heavy gimmicky piece of junk

Thanks for watching. Total weight including pedals was sub 7Kg. Not too shabby. As for junk, the festka frames are some of the highest quality lay ups we have ever seen. You have to be pretty confident to show your layup with just a clear coat. No filler or UD matting to hide mould errors. Thanks for your comments and for getting involved.

@@veloatelier6122my 2014 tcr is lighter than that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@veloatelier6122 Жыл бұрын
@TarmaccyclocrossYes of course. Its a simple rim brake bike with no internal cabling. My own steel road bike is the same and weighs only 6.8Kg. By lighter than sub 7Kg Im guessing you must mean your TCR is sub 6Kg. Thats pretty light even for one of those. You must have some nice parts on there to reach that light. Either that or its a very small frame size. Thanks for watching and commenting.

How can the Festka be the future? It is built with antiquated materials and ignores aerodynamics.
@veloatelier6122 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. We think this bike is interesting in terms of drivetrain as well as the favouring of perfect fit over “Aero” tube shapes in the carbon frame. In wind tunnel tests we have proven time and again that getting the perfect position; which is possible with a custom frame like this; is far more aerodynamic than a Aero bike that doesn’t fit correctly. Increasingly we see mass produced aero frames made with increasingly problematic geometries for normal humans. As for materials you comment is interesting. We consider filament wound carbon to be pretty high quality compared to most pop out carbon layups. We are interested to hear your opinion on how this is antiquated. Finally, the title is meant as a question to create a discourse such as this, so thanks for getting involved.
