netflix has done this for other roles -- my hunch is that it's so they can follow the california mandates for salary range disclosure, but not really put a price on the role until they have candidates to discuss. they're definitely leading with "money is no object," though, so they can get the candidate they want. from what i've heard about their culture i have little interest in netflix as an employer but it's an interesting strategy nonetheless!

It’s definitely a range, but nonetheless it blows a standard PM salary out of the water! And Netflix isn’t the culture for me either - the keeper test actually makes me concerned about the culture in general. But some people like that hustle/grind.
