That is an amazing layout and also what your team have managed to achieve in such a short timeframe. Particularly all those thousands of unique 3D printed and laser cut parts you have had to design and produce. The Railway Modeller August article on this layout compliments this beautifully, I really appreciate the dedication and promotion of the hobby to all. You are so lucky to have space to store and then combine all three, good luck with that, it will certainly keep you busy! Enjoy the exhibition.

It is intresting or would be what Pete Waterman is trying to achieve, because he with his millions he made from the music industry is capable of financing these achievements of his, but it would be interestin what he finally wants to achieve, nbut in reality he is taking rail modelling way out of the ordinary's enthusiasm's reach, therefore making it virtually impossible for the main modeller to achieve his own aims.

Nonsense, he is inspiring many to improve and reach out for the ultimate goal. The systems behind the layout are all available to anyone. With inspiration and determination and a certain amount of skill, you can achieve anything in a model railway. Enough of the English pessimism!!!

Hi Stan, I think you will find it completely the opposite. There are so many folk that want smaller more manageable layouts,(not just because they haven’t the space or the money) some even thrive solely on the micro and table top ones. All these large “complex” layouts are made up of smaller blocks and thus individual item expense is but a fraction of what you see collectively here - it’s just like Lego! Difference is they have designed and made thousands of parts themselves (3D print/ laser cut). You can pick and choose what you want to do. The track work here is straight forward, (as they are not compressing the station and it’s approaches) I have seen track plans far more complex in a 11x 14’ area where modellers have compressed the scene they are modelling. These guys have to do something large, impressive and inspiring/ different to fill this sort of space (and why not it’s their hobby). It’s a pleasure to see something that is so unique being done like this and tens of thousands are likewise doing the same by coming to see it - there is a huge demand for it too - the third but differently themed layout, so hardly putting folk off the hobby. Pete has also built up a very loyal and dedicated team too of like minded railway modelling hobbyists - what opportunities he has given everybody. I hope you get to go and see and enjoy it too…..

Hello, I am here to talk about OO9 Gauge. Yeah, I would like to talk about the Colonial Sugar Refinery Company Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 tender engines. Specifically, locomotive No.11 Fiji, which currently resides at the Statfold Barn Railway. Yeah, There *NEEDS* to be OO9 scale models for Fiji. It’s such a Great Looking Engine, and yet, it doesn’t exist in OO9 scale. Either Bachmann, Hornby, or Heljan, or any OO9 scale Manufacturer, Please Model all Narrow Gauge Engines in OO9 scale, they are all great and OO9 scale needs to be talked about More.
