In the 70’s and 80’s the classic place to get picarones was Costa Verde, yes, the beach, Barranco and Chorrillos beaches. Back then, there were only rustic food places and bars, not all the fancy restaurants you see there today. I would recommend you try picarones in Surquillo, around Mercado 2, and in Lince at night, Julio C Tello street, there are outstanding anticuchos and choncholí food stands there at night too and really good restaurants you can go during the day to scout out the area, even though in general it is pretty safe👍

wowwww!!! You have no fear of bees!!!! And yesss picarones is the best of best. If you ever wanna try picarones in Miami go to "La gringuita". She does north and south of miami. Love Picarones. ❤❤❤
